Alien Zombie Seed From Outerspace

Panspermia is the well-known theory that puts forth the notion that life on Earth could have originated from elsewhere in the cosmos, brought to Earth by a crashed celestial body such as a wayward comet, or carried on drifting space dust.  Many astrobiologists counter that radiation would kill any such organisms in space.  A new theory, necropanspermia has emerged that offers another possibility.  The theory posits that even if alien life arrived dead on arrival, fragments of DNA could have been enough to kick-start life on Earth.

DIRECTED Panspermia

What about Mckenna's claim that shroom spores are strong enough to cross atmospheres? Is that still valid?

And if the panspermia was directed as opposed to accidental then wouldn't our extraterrestrial ancestors probably have developed the technology to ensure that there venturing organisms could pass through our planet's shield?
