Water on the Moon

Researchers have discovered that there was water on the face of the moon in the earlier stages of the celestial body's development. The discovery was made by examining lunar magma pebbles.

The research has eliminated the possibility that the water arrived through a planetary collision, and estimates suggest that during the early stages of the moon's development the water content on the surface was the same as that of the Earth's upper mantle.

This changes everything scientifically.

Now scientists are saying that the developmental processes of our moon were far wilder and more complex than ever previously imagined.

    Some esoteric alternative history buffs claim that the moon is the remnant of a large water planet that was destroyed close to the Earth. That the water from this planet was what the great flood was; which all the ancient cultures talk about.

I seem to remember reading somewhere about a tribe's belief in the Earth being a former sun to the moon, and earth spirits going to the moon at death... so that eventually the earth will become a moon to the sun... I could be remembering it wrong, but it seems to fit with this possibility of the moon having water, like Earth.

There is a recent NASA confirmation that there was presences of water in the moon, or rather that there were ice particles on the moon. It takes a month for scientists to analyze the data from the spacecraft’s spectrometers, instruments that can detect strong signals of water molecules from plumes. However it is insane to think that the water on the moon could be suitable for drinking. Why? Because the moon has no atmosphere that means that it is constantly bombarded with any kind of radiation. Which is nit appropriate for our health.
