Vote on Pot

[Action Alert] • Recently, nine former heads of the Drug Enforcement Administration sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder to to speak out against the marijuana legalization ballot initiatives in Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.
Marijuana legalization is supported by a significant portion of the country. Seventeen states and the District of Columbia have already legalized the medical user of marijuana. Washington, Colorado, and Oregon will vote on regulating marijuana like alcohol this November.
Letting states regulate their own marijuana policies respects the rights of the individual rights, and helps reduce the drug-related crime. The widespread number of citizens who've had enough of the war on drugs deserve to vote on this issue.
Signing this petition will allow you to sign your name to a letter addressed to General Holder that explains why this is issue is so important in a country that is ostensibly about voter's rights.
