In this video, directors Alex Mallis and Lily Henderson from the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective document the micro-communities that have sprung up during the Occupy Wall Street campaign.  The video depicts the protest as a living, breathing organism, with food, medical and information needs being taken care of by democratic community action.

How often have we been led to believe in the disengaged youth? How long have we been led to believe that how it is, is only the way it could be?

This film is so inspiring, these times are so inspiring and I salute every single soul that has stood up to be counted. I applaud RS for featuring the writing of Charles Eisenstein and others and being totally with the mood of what’s going on right now.

Hell, I’ve got no money and I work all the hours Sun sends to tread water in an economic swamp but it’s a beautiful life and people like these are mighty and fine.

Just carry on.
