The film Cultivating a Cure asks what is the value of a plant and whether we can afford to let undiscovered and underutilized medicinal plants not only go unnoticed but possibly disappear forever?

This clip features the work of Dr. Dennis McKenna, one of the main characters in Cultivating a Cure. This one hour documentary directed by Sarah Hutt follows the progress of native healers, scientists, and researchers all working with traditional plant-based medicines in and around the Amazonian town of Iquitos, Peru.
