Don Peyote, Chapter One

This video chronicles the aftermath of one man's apocalyptic dream and subsequent synchronicity-filled search for answers as he goes down the rabbit hole of 2012 mythology. During the course of Don's journey there are surprising cameos by Daniel Pinchbeck, Jay Baruchel, Anne Hathaway and others.

Don Peyote is directed by Don Fogler, who is also its Woody Allen-channeling star. This is the second feature for Dan who has acting credits in the movies Fanboys, Balls of Fury, Taking Woodstock and Brand New Day. He also has an Atom.com webseries called M'LARKY.

This was quite the video. It takes things up a notch, humor, looking at things through different lenses... but inside I think we know there are some strange and wonderful things in our future.

it's impossible that the future will only hold banal and uninteresting outcomes. -

of course the odds of a dystopian techno-nightmare future aren't out of the realm of possibility either! -

maybe we'll be invaded by aliens who enslave mankind... but then the twist will be that we discover that the aliens are actually HUMANS who have been colluding with world leaders since WW2 and they have been developing nazi UFO technology ever since. -

or a fascist liberal nanny state gone wrong ala "demolition man". -

It's no wonder that this video has gotten the attention of the mass media. It's well done and is unique. I think that if all videos had this much emergency food supply attention put into them we wouldn't see the traditional media going down. For example movies are on the decline because there is so much trash out there. But once you find a good director like Don Fogler you can have hope there is something good left in the world.
