Biographical
Venkatesh Rao is a writer, consultant and independent researcher. He is the author of Tempo, a book on narrative-driven decision-making, and writes the popular ribbonfarm blog. He consults in the areas of organizational design, technology trend analysis and product marketing. His current interests include the future of data, urbanism, the Internet of Things and the history of innovation. He holds a PhD in systems and control theory from the University of Michigan and has over a decade of experience in startup, academic and corporate R&D environments.
