Tom Mansfield

Tom Mansfield is a London-based poetry and rhyme performance artist and events curator.

His series of ‘Forum’ events are acclaimed for bringing names as diverse as Ian Goldin, Marcus Du Sautoy, Marek Kukula and David McCandless to festival audiences, while blending the arts with discussion and debate in philosophy, science, politics and culture.

In addition to events and performance Tom is co- founder of the ‘Indigo Mind Project' which uses EEG technology to translate the users’ mental/emotional state into music. As well as being a wholly new interface for composition it functions as neurofeedback tool for the practice of meditation as well as being a learning aid. He is also cofounder of the League of Pragmatic Optimists, a group that connects people for project facilitation through sharing skills and ideas.
