Biographical

Suresh Fernando is an activist and philosopher with a wide range of life experience and interests. He has recently been heavily involved with the Occupy movement... His impetus to join the movement stemmed from over a decade as a stockbroker and investment banker which left him with a deep sense of unease. He has now completely shifted his focus and is working with local activist organizations, and regularly writing, with a view to both revealing the hypocrisies of the existing system as well as shining a light on the way forward!
