Biographical
Mitch Fraas has been an artist and a musician since his teens. In the late 1990s, he traveled to Guatemala where he met a medicine woman, Dolores Ratzan (the former wife of Martin Pretchell) and began to study under her. He is currently planning a tour for Ratzan in the US, as well as assisting with Ratzan's Guatemalan shamanic tours. He continues to immerse himself in shamanic Mayan culture, and divides his time between Portland, Oregon and Santiago Atitlan. He still paints and performs music whenever he finds the time.
