Biographical
I am and have always been an insightful, observant, and conflicted individual. I have drifted in and out of phases, taking a little something with me out of every one of the experiences from which I have emerged, shaping the person I am today. In that respect I can also claim to be an ever changing person, understanding the limitess possibilites of existence. All this aside, I will always be a poet and an artist; I view the world from a creative perspective and then attempt to put forth my understanding of it, channeling it through my work, hoping always to make sense of our place in the rest of the universe in the process.
Interests
I enjoy writing poetry, creating provoking and beautiful pieces of artwork and reading good books. Talking long walks in the night and long hikes in the daytime; I am amazed by nature (the biodiverse ocean and old-growth forests of Vancouver Island will always welcome me). I own an afican djembe and love to play around with it but I would also love to learn more with it. I was born in Nelson, Britsh Columbia: a thriving community of arts, sustainable culture and the provider of the world's greatest bud, spending many a summer there. An excellently brewed cup of green tea will always satisfy, and of course meditation.
