Troy Jones has a B.S. in Communications Studies from New York University, where he focused on educational communication and technology. Before the arrival of the Internet, he worked for many years in the "multimedia" industry, working on CD-ROMs such as The Beatles 'A Hard Day's Night', CD-ROM companions for college textbooks, and writing and producing monthly Q&A video columns for PC World and MacWorld magazines.
Following the move onto the Internet, he began doing information design and development work for clients such as Barnes & Noble, Lucent Technologies, Ross Laboratories, and the American Dairy Association. This work continued during several years spent working on an in-house global trends forecasting project for a major fashion retailer.
Troy currently oversees technology for a large international design firm with a presence in nine countries.
