Biographical
After being introduced to the wonders of Ayurveda in northeast India in 2005, Jonathan pursued a one-year program at Dr. Vasant Lad's Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico. The following year brought him back to South Asia, this time to Nepal, where he deepened his studies on a Fulbright grant. Focusing on the Ayurvedic herbal traditions, he observed both modern and classical forms of practice. It was during this time that Jonathan recognized his goal of becoming a vehicle for such endangered classical medical traditions and a practitioner of holistic medicine. He is now studying traditional Western herbalism with Matthew Wood and classical Chinese medicine at NCNM in Portland, OR.
