Biographical
Jeremiah Phoenix is a poet, singer-songwriter, performance philosopher, and recovering scientist living in Berkeley, CA. As scientist, he assembled DNA sequences for the Human Genome Project at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the Stanford Human Genome Center, both of which he thanks for subsidizing his surfing of the Deoxyribonucleic Hyperdimension and Hyperborea whilst running genetic sequence assemblies. Previous forays into psychonaut realms include intense discussions with Terence and others on the original Novelty List, as well as working as a conceptual engineer on the 2007 film Entheogen: Awakening the Divine Within. He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from Dartmouth College, and is a dropout of the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, the latter of which he credits with catalyzing his dismemberment from philosopher-scientist toward the artist self into which he is currently in the process of re-membering.
