Biographical
Born in England in 1971, Jason Thompson studied English Literature at Oxford University and worked in the UK and US media for ten years before moving into work as a counselor with homeless youth. He recently finished a memoir, STELLA, about his relationship to his mother and her struggle with mental illness. He lives in San Francisco and is married with one daughter. He is an endurance athlete and recently completed his first 50km ultramarathon. He writes regularly about mental health issues at his blog, Neurotransmission.org and can be contacted at jasontomp@hotmail.com.
