Biographical
Ildiko Hayes is a writer, teacher, poet and visionary . Her early childhood was lived under German Army occupation in Guernsey, and after that she travelled much, gained an MA in English from Cambridge University, did many jobs and undertook a lifelong spiritual journey. She has a website to share thoughts, experiences and information: www.auntiescatha.com.
After her father died in 2003, she discovered some beautiful light classical style music he had written in 1942, together with his highly articulate and interesting writings. His music was finally premiered in Guernsey in October 2009 and Ildiko created a website for him to coincide with it, called www.johncrossleyhayes.co.uk. Some people may like his brief memoir of life in Guernsey during the war, and his “musings” on old age.
