Biographical

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where I currently study creative writing in the underfunded state school system. I consider my new-found interest in consciousness a synchronicity in itself: Everything began when I caught an episode of Go Tribal in which the host underwent a Bwiti initiation in Gabon. I wrote a research paper on iboga and read Breaking Open the Head and Peter Furst's Flesh of the Gods. From psychedelics to meditation and ecoshamanism, my interest in consciousness has expanded greatly over the last couple years.
