Biographical

Debra Devi is the author of the new eBook The Language of the Blues: From Alcorub to Zuzu (Guitar International 2012), which includes a foreword by Dr. John, is blurbed by Bonnie Raitt and Joe Bonamassa, and won the ASCAP Deems Taylor Award for Outstanding Book on Popular Music. She is the lead singer/guitarist for the rock band Devi, and a former associate editor of Blues Revue who has also written for The Village Voice, Rolling Stone.com and Guitar World.
