Biographical

Rebecca Lerner, who goes by Becky, is the author of the literary nonfiction book "Dandelion Hunter: Foraging the Urban Wilderness" (Globe Pequot Press, 2013). She is a journalist and nature educator living in Portland, Oregon. Her goal is to "inspire and empower my fellow human beings to remember who we really are." Lerner and her popular blog, www.FirstWays.com, have appeared in dozens of media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, The Oregonian, the Boston Globe, Ad Busters, and the Utne Reader.
