The Universe in a Nutshell

Planetary Collective is nearing completion of their feature documentary CONTINUUM. By weaving together perspectives and ideas from some of the key theorists and thinkers in the fields of cosmology, environmentalism, sustainability, social theory, anthropology and systems dynamics, CONTINUUM tells the story of where we have come from, where we are now, and the possibilities for our future. CONTINUUM is a feature-length documentary that explores this sense of separation and its roots in language, perception and our evolution. The journey will take us from the first stirrings of life to the emergence of a global brain; from the complexity and wonder of a single plant cell to the emerging biomimetic technologies that are changing the way we build the future; and from the appearance of modern humans to the planetary crisis we face today.

After three years, the documentary is almost finished, although it still needs a little bit more footage and post-production work. Planetary Collective has formed a Kickstarter to raise the remaining funds necessary. There are pledge options for everyone's budgets, with different corresponding perks.
