Truth and Synchronicity

On Thursday, May 24th come hear Evolver General Manager and author Jennifer Palmer tell a highly personal story about synchronicity. Jennifer will join stars of TV, film and literature who drop
their usual act and show a different side of themselves at RISK!, a show where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public. Jennifer has given many talks on synchronicity and online telepathy, but never with such a revealing twist.
Hosted by Kevin Allison of The State, RISK! is also a free audio podcast getting hundreds of thousands of hits each month. Slate.com called RISK! “jaw-dropping, hysterically funny, and just plain touching.” Come to The PIT on Thursday night to experience RISK! and hangout afterwards with Jennifer.
May 24th (Thu) 9:30 $10

The story of how we met
I was at the local tavern -where the furniture is made of balsawood..- I had maybe 2 pitchers of beer in me when I wondered over to a table with 2 women sitting at it.
'I bet I can guess your birthday'
I didn't get the days, but I got the months right for both of them. The one girl seemed impressed, the other one was slightly annoyed by my presence.
'Wow because I guessed your birth months it entitles me to drink your unfinished room temperature beer'
They half obliged, when a 3rd woman turned around from the bar, I saw her and immediately she seemed strangely familiar having some kind of aura about her- or maybe I was just drunk.
'I guessed your friends birthdays, I bet I can guess yours'
'Her birthday is today'
then she said 'How did you know'
'Magic!'
'I don't believe you.'
'No one does, can I drink the rest of your beer?'
'yes'
Then sometime passed and I bemused these women with my anecdotes of the fantastic and ethereal! the sublime and the amazing! I was pretty impressed with myself, therefore she must feel the same!! Then it was closing time and she had to go.
'Can I go with you?'
'No'
Then I jumped off the balcony.
Thats the jits of it anyways. Its not a great story, but its text in this box here.
