Tribal Leadership

Seth Godin.jpg

In this Ted talk, Seth Godin discusses how our highly networked world is ending centralized power, enabling individuals to lead and connect people and ideas on a meaningful scale.

"He argues that the Internet has ended mass marketing and revived a human social unit from the distant past: tribes."

According to Godin's theories,, as we put forth our good ideas, we find others who are attracted to the same values.  In this process, we voluntarily assemble tribes that self organize and become new communities that can change our world.

Inspiring!!

Godin hits the nail on the head here. Fantastic speech. We ARE the creators and once the right minds connect, fueled by passion and nourished by community, then anything is truly possible. It's great to see RS and Evolver taking these very steps towards empowering a movement by uniting the writers, artists, raw vegans, the burners, the permies, etc into a Tribe unbounded by space! The internet is modern day magic, connecting all those who belong together. Sibyl, The eye altering, alters all... http://sibyleyes.wordpress.com/
