Manmade Tree Plague

Across the U.S. trees are dying in mass numbers due to a new brand of weedkiller manufactured by DuPont and approved for use by the EPA. According to reports, the herbicide Imprelis "was claimed to be safer for the environment than its predecessors," but landscapers and environmentalists have never seen anything like the destruction it's causing.
DuPont's response has been to advise users not to spray the weedkiller near trees as vulnerable species like the Norway spruce and white pines die in mass numbers.
Coupled with the oil spill in Yellowstone River, human beings have had a particularly destructive summer so far.
