"Terence Today" Contest

Next month, the Evolver Intensives launches a unique teleseminar on the legacy of the brilliant psychedelic philosopher Terence McKenna, hosted by his brother Dennis: http://evolverintensives.com/upcoming/psychedelic-adventures-at-the-edge-of-the-abyss.html.
The course features a special line up of close friends of Dennis and Terence who can speak with rare insight about the brothers’ legacy and their relevance for today: Daniel Pinchbeck, Dr. Luis Eduardo Luna, Ralph Abraham, Marc Pesce, Ralph Metzner, and Erik Davis. This promises to be a unique and important event.
Many people in the Reality Sandwich / Evolver community continue to find great inspiration in Terence's extraordinary ideas. Therefore, this month, we are offering a contest: "TERENCE TODAY." We ask that people write short essays of up to 500 words on their Evolver.net blogs on what they consider the relevance of Terence's work today. Entries will also be accepted as a short (under 5 minute) video clip.
Two winners will be chosen by the Evolver.net community -- whoever gets the most "groks" (likes) for their essay, which needs to be tagged: McKenna Contest. These winners will receive free tickets to our "Psychedelic Adventures at the Edge of the Abyss: The Ideas of Dennis and Terence McKenna," seminar, or a future webinar of their choice. The most popular entries will also be republished on Reality Sandwich. Contest ends the night of June 1 (midnight EST).
We look forward to reading your entries.
