Tech Problems

Sometimes when I try to open a page, I get a pop up saying IE is unable to open the page, and the page then closes. This has only been happening recently - and particularly with the mushroominati page for some reason. I suspect it may be because there is a youtube video on the page..?

Is this something to do with my computer? I haven't changed any settings, as far as I know. Is this happening to anybody else? Can anyone offer any hints or tips as to how I might fix this if it is my problem?

Cheers all

Thom.

Electric Jesus

Hi there, Glad to have you here!

Jonathan Phillips does the Electric Jesus podcasts -- you can find them by either doing a search for "electric jesus" using the search box below the category bar at the top of each page. Or alternately, you can click on "Jonathan Phillips" vertical Contributors bar on the main page. This will take you to Jonathan's blog, where all his posts and podcasts can be found.

Enjoy, and tell your friends about Reality Sandwich!

Hello!

Hi publicuser,

Yes, welcome. Do tell your friends. Also, if any of them can tell me why I can't open Reality Sandwich articles which contain youtube embeds, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks.

Thom.

A Small Note

I noticed that the middle column sometimes overlaps the right column of links in an awkward manner. This usually occurs when you go to the forum section.

Contributor's Index

Are we not allowed to access the "Contributor's Index." If so, why? It seems counter-intuitive to have a link that is not accessible by the user.

where's the delete button? oh, nevermind.

I'm sure it would save Daniel a lot of work if I had a delete button for my own posts for those occasions when the tickle of my own toes on my uvula indicate a lapse in reason for which edit is simply too small a step...I suppose I could just leave content-less post with a disclaimer "Post removed by author due to sudden realization of previous flagrant lapse of judgment." This would however leave behind a the dismembered corpses of my failed attempts at either humor or insight, possibly cramping my creative flow. Ok, I'm looking for that button again just now...Oh, what the heck, I guess I'll just leave it...maybe I should put a time delay on the post comment button? No these things tend to be cyclical, so I might just push it anyway when I shouldn't, so its probably best just to edit it during a lucid phase and try to make it blend in...actually the buttons seem to be of the proper type and function. User error...
