Who the hell wrote the book reviews ? Because after reading those it gives the impression Narby is a well intentioned fool. If I had not read Cosmic Serpent, I certainly wouldn't bother after these dismissive briefs. Luckily I have read the 1st book, and it's excellent. Is RS trying to get people to NOT listen to Narby ?

Sorry, I grabbed the wrong paragraph from Publisher's Weekly.  I just took it down.  Once again, this was a case of trying to do too many things in too short of time.
