This is wonderfull! Elegant

This is wonderfull! Elegant and ...flowering.

That Sylvapolitan is far more sophisticated than Cosmopolitan is right on point. There's many great insights in here.

Many thanks for posting.

Worth discussing

This seems to be much more worth discussing than many other posts here. I am amazed how little attention it has received. Brent has eloquently described many of us reading and posting here. I'd much rather be a sylvapolitan than a cosmopolitan. Like McKenna and Narby, and perhaps, more in depth, this is an evolutionary theory that I can relate to and with. It is amazing that as a species we are heading toward our demise at an alarming rate, ignoring our ecos, our home, and what it can teach us. The sylvapolitans lurking in the woods, speaking with the plants, encouraging spirit are the hope our (human) world needs.

yay

I couldn't agree more Jennifer. I am really surprised that this post hasn't been getting more attention. I keep wondering why---is it the way I set up the teaser do you think? Not sure---but this lecture is one of my favorite in the past few years that I've run across. Keep your eyes pealed--he's got more coming for us! Adam Elenbaas

Flow with the Flowers

This is great indeed.

I think it's worth saying 'Don't judge a post by its comments.'

I've been listening to this on the regular and it makes me smile a big smile. I don't feel the need to say much, because Brent himself has said so much.

The talk is satisfying in such a way as it kinda shuts me up and calmly moves me towards vitality action.

I don't think its the teaser or anything like that - perhaps it is because talks, lectures and presentations like this simply floor (or flower) people.

Plant-Human communication ...speechless.

Sylvapolitan......ok...now what

He makes a few interesting observations and proposes a few very shakey models. What is that wierd sound he keeps making between words? Does any one agree with his ass backwards Aristotlian model of "affinities?" Give me a break. Those ideas went out of style about three thousand years ago! There is no scientific foundation for any of this.....it's all rather poetic but really lacks a sound foundation. It's sad to see people so enthralled by this pap.

also...

also... I do have a lot of questions and inquiry, but I am still recieving so many answers from this talk and post that it will take me a moment to round them all up.

Astounding and new ideas to me.

Just the kinds of 'different' thoughts that the world needs.

I so enjoyed listening to this. I found the ideas presented astounding and new. It's not often that I can say that.

Anyway, Loved it.

Dna.

Awakening to the inner flower

Thank you Adam for posting this! I have slowly been on a journey of revitalizing my original self, my tribal nature, my plant spirit. This lecture truly solidified my feelings and will keep me forever determined to flow with cosmic waves of life. I am very grateful for people who strive to harmonize the essence of our existence with knowledge of the ancient - plant teachers. -Maya
