Student Strike in NYC

There has never been a more important time for the students of New York City to take to the streets. In a show of solidarity and unity with Occupy Wall Street, the NYC Student Assembly has declared November 14th-21st the Student Week of Action. The citywide student strike will provide a platform to speak out against increasing tuition hikes, monstrous student debt, and the looming threat of economic catastrophe. 

 

What better place than here, what better time than now? A mass, student convergence will be held at Union Square at 3pm November 17th. Let the country know the true cost of higher education:  take class to the streets.
