Star Death Spiral

New photographs taken by the Hubble Space Telescope reveal an "unusually perfect" celestial spiral.
Astronomers think that the spiral is being caused by the death of one of the stars in the binary system, LL Pegasi. As its life slowly fades, scientists conjecture that its outer layer of gas is being picked up by the corkscrew orbit of its still shining twin. The dying star is itself is hidden, but it's ejecting material at about 31,000 miles (50,000 kilometers) an hour, the researchers calculate, forming a new ring in the spiral every 800 years.
"'If a single star was sitting still, it would eject matter in all directions at roughly the same speed,' said Raghvendra Sahai of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory."

Norway?
I was just thinking that
Definitely a strong similarity to the Norway Spiral...
Daniel's mentioned the shape of the spiral in some of his talks--about how it might be a projection from our collective unconscious...I'm inclined to agree.
I believe that while there's a scientific explanation for this spiral, the fact that Hubble discovered it now, post-Norway spiral, is more than a coincidence.

Inspiring
The similarity to Norway spiral is flabbergasting. This doesn't have to be a supernaturally created phenomenon to be significant. Even if it is perfectly explainable in natural terms, it is still an unprecedented space image, as far as I know, and highly unusual, not just in its perfection but in it relatively close timing to the Norway spiral and other spirals before and after. Astrology is at its heart about cosmic synchronicities, and this seems like some form of that.
I've been documenting various connections to the Norway spiral imagery in pop culture. The movie "9", for example, was released Sep 9, 2009, before the spiral on Dec 9, 2009. It ends with a scene in which spirits float up into the sky and form a greenish spiral shape. Then a dark circle expands out from the center, as happened in Norway.
I also found something in the shape of Norway on the map that struck me - the northern section of Norway, where the spiral was seen, is shaped like a seahorse, and the spiral appeared around the area where the sea horse spiral tail would be. I've put it all in a thread here:

new discoveries
Maybe it's also no coincidence that as we seem to be getting closer to learning the truth about ufo sightings, we're finding viable environments for alien life out in space via new telescopes.
