Stand Up For Your Food

The FDA currently considers genetically modified (GM) foods “substantially equivalent” and therefore doesn’t require them to be labeled as such. There is a growing body of evidence that reveals the health and environmental concerns regarding the corporate control of world food supplies, and monopolization through government lobbying.
The Organic Consumers Association’s Millions Against Monsanto Campaign is forming 435 local chapters, one for each U.S. Congressional District, to fight for the labeling of GMO’s. This Saturday March 26th, they are staging a demonstration at the White House with satellite rallies happening throughout the country. This is the first of many rallies to help gear up for the October 2011 day of action – the largest nationwide day of action on genetic engineering.
Please check out their website to find your local rally and stand up for your food!
