Spirit Honored

Leading by example, author Matthew Pallamary shares his journey from despondency in an inner city Irish Catholic American's life to the awakening of spirit he encountered in the jungles of the Amazon with the aid of visionary plants. The book is aptly titled Spirit Matters, as it testifies to the importance of moving beyond the daily drudge, in which so many modern humans are trapped, to realizing the beauty and unconditional love that is ever-present and available to us all. USA Book News, a major industry publishing journal, selected Spirit Matters as a finalist for the 2008 Best Books Award in their autobiography category.  Pallamary is also the author of the historical novel, Land Without Evil, an account of the Guarani tribe of South America and their struggles with European invaders.

Worth Buying

I still have yet to get a hardcopy of Spirit Matters! I swear, Mateo, when I get the dough, I swear I'll buy one from ya! :-)

It's a good read for anyone who hasn't already read it, he just knows to how to tell a tale very simply and yet still says a lot. It takes some skill to do that, it's easy for a writer to get off on a tangent or over-write just a bit, just a little bit. . .

I enjoyed how he incorporated Sacred Geometrical designs into the books format,  and as he said himself that even if a reader doesn't understand the symbolism it still effects them unconsciously, I happen to agree with that.

Matt's a cool dude so check his stuff out if you have been thinking about it already!!!
