A New Song Every Day

songadayjpg.jpg

Jonathan writes a song a day. Calling his band Rock Cookie Bottom, each creation by this Reality Sandwich fan is posted complete with music video mirroring his eclectic idiosyncrasies. With over 265 currently released, his song stylings go from rock to folk with all stops between and beyond.

Taking inspiration from viewers suggestions, economic columnists, and even "scary ant-like creatures" found in his roommate's room, every day offers up a new surprise. As he states in his Song a Day Anthem (song #11)- some songs will suck, some will be mediocre, but by "simple probability" some will be excellent. Glancing through his blog rockcookiebottom, one could argue many are the latter. At the very least--with sometimes non sequitur subjects ranging from the seemingly pointless to poignant--all of his songs communicate Jonathan's learnt freedom from the voices of insecurity that plague us all.

And even if he still hears them--he'll just writes a song about it

Rock Cookie Bottom's songs and videos can be found on his blog (updated daily): http://www.rockcookiebottom.com/

sex in space rocks.

What!

Someone else wrote a sex in space song?  I guess it was inevitable, fractal noosphere and all.

"In Zero With Grace" is a crowd favorite.

everlight  is a spambot and the comment that he -- rather it  -- posted is SPAM.  There are spambots all over the web posting computer-generated generic comment designed to be posted on any blog.  These spam comments on blogs are not mainly for the purpose of advertising something to the readers of the blog, but rather to have the advertising links within them found by search engines -- the more times the search engine finds the link, the higher it rates on the search engine.  But too many gullible bloggers get fooled when they see praise like "truly absorbing blog, extremely fascinating," etc etc.

Oops, double post, I must have clicked twice.  But maybe it will help draw attention to all the spam so the mods will clean it up.  They are most welcome to delete all my anti-spam posts in the process, once those posts no longer serve a purpose.

Looks like spam as well, just clever enough to key off the word "song" and plug in the name "Jonathan."

If it isn't spam, why the spam link?

These spam links, btw, are often not mainly intended for us to click, but for search engines to find to raise the site on the search engine.

Spam that used the word

Spam that used the word "song" to make a song-related comment that looked semi-legitimate.  The spam links are planted here for search engines to find.

If you are not a spambot, pattphilip, post something that demonstrates you are a human being, and explain why the spam link in your post.

Yes, and I am trying to draw attention to it... but have you noticed, Michael, that two spambots quoted your line for their own spam comments?  Talk about irony!

Edit: darn, the threading makes it harder to see which posts I am responding to, because it puts my "SPAM" alerts together sometimes instead of placing them right after the spam post.

But I am trying to draw attention to the SPAM and make it harder to ignore, and it still might do that.

What is up with spambots and scatporn?
