Re: the American Prospect article. My father is a (brilliant and masterly{don't let the stereotype fool you}) public defender, and a judge, and, strangely, a family friend, recently ruled that a ten year old boy, who touched his step or adopted three year old sister's vagina, will be registered a sex offender for the next ten years, and will spend the next few years in whatever draconian lockup this country likes to put our un-, mis-, and disinformed offending children.
