RS Social in New Orleans

Reality Sandwich is teaming up with Swan River Yoga Shala for an RS potluck dinner and a movie, The Shaman's Apprentice: The Search for Knowledge in the Amazaon Rainforest, as part of a "Sacred Warrior Weekend" in New Orleans.

Come join members of the transformational community in New Orleans and me for a veggie potluck dinner and then kick back to watch, The Shaman's Apprenctice, which will be followed by a discussion.

The Shaman's Apprentice follows the story of Louisiana native and renowned ethnobotonist Dr. Mark Plotkin. He first traveled the Amazon seeking a cure for diabetes, and what he found was extraordinary biological riches and shape shifting shamans who healed with sophisticated medicines. Plotkin learned that these indigenous people have an astonishing ability to manage their fragile rainforest environment, but they are disappearing faster than the rainforests.
