RS Hits Sundance

This week, Reality Sandwich is making its glamorous if somewhat improbable Sundance debut. Reality Sandwich founders Ken Jordan and Daniel Pinchbeck were invited to present at a panel, "Social Cyborg: How Technology is Changing Us," at 12:30 pm on Thursday at the New Frontier on Main (it's free), along with online producers from WITNESS and CurrentTV. Apparently, the film world is taking an increasing interest in our eclectic and visionary offerings.
Along with the Sundance invite, Reality Sandwich's Holywood profile has recently been given a boost by actress Ellen Page, star of Juno. In several recent interviews, Page has discussed reading Pinchbeck's books, admitting that 2012 "just freaked me out." In this web promo for Juno, she names Reality Sandwich as her favorite website.
Ellen, if you happen to be dodging papparazi, snowboarding, and catching obscure Samoan documentaries while in Park City, please make some time to come by our panel on Thursday, and say hello.

Is it just me?
...or is this an enormous signal that human culture is starting to reverberate at the common and universal frequency?
Media, as a McCluhan said, is a message in and of itself. I can only see beauty in the fact that the people who watch movies and TV will ultimately join in with those who meditate, creating larger and larger populations who love freely and give of themselves freely, giving to themselves and to all.
Then earth will look like heaven. :)
the heat is on
yay!
Excellent news. Tell Ellen that I think she's cute if you see her! haha jk.
Definitely feels like more people are tuning in to the site, doesn't it? Yay!
Enjoy Sundance fellas.

Goooood Vibrations!
Interesting experience
Interesting experience working Sundance-
Worked the Entertainment Tonight Party and the volunteer party, and all the other employees were having a great time and in a good mood, loving the 'consumption' vibe. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
The only event I saw people having fun and smiling at was the 'Harmony Project'. All my fellow employees were in a bad mood, couldn't figure out the big deal with all this 'hippie shit'. Tons of drama. A very mellow vibe with a different scene than the other ones, the people attending actually talked with 'the staff' rather than just ordering us around with pretense.
The difference between those running around wanting to make the 'scene' and those working to create a new world is staggering.

For some reason, the Ellen Page "Juno" promo disappeared from this post.

The video is back now. I removed the embed code by mistake when fixing a typo in the teaser. Thanks ST for posting this back up link.
