Revolutionary Rap
My new album SunDream offers pioneering psychedelic hip-hop with lyrics by The 7th Sun and appearances by esoteric rappers like Sick Since and B.ILL. The album intends to aid in the period of revelation I believe we are experiencing as we near 2012. The story is told in two parts.
Part 1: Material Revolution
"Let's go to the streets and make the changes"-The 7th Sun in "Fear"
The first half of the album (tracks 1-10) focuses on conspiracies, conflict, and the material revolution that I think needs to happen and the groundwork that must be done in this war of information. Topics from secret government projects like Montauk to struggles with addiction, Sumerian texts and Planet X, to the call to activism and 9-11 are discussed, not to mention the good ole' "reptilian agenda." Influences in the first half span from Che Guevara and Pinero, to David Icke and Michael Tsarion spiced with Synchromysticism.
Part Two: Spiritual Evolution
"Here's what you do to get in the mood. Hit the light, flick the bic, spark the wick, nag champa lit. Seal it off with a chronic spliff, then sit back and chill relax and meditate"
-The 7th Sun in "Liberation"
The second half of the album (tracks 11-20) are influenced by the musings and research of Jose Arguelles, Terence McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck, Dr. Rick Strassman, David Wilcock, and the list goes on. It shows how we must choose to evolve spiritually in order to prepare for the changes of the coming ages. The album has a track for every major chakra energy center, and makes good meditation music as The 7th Sun helps the listener identify blockages, complemented with some significant instrumental breaks.

what about this shite?
thanks for the direction in terms of staying focused on indigenous knowledge.
it seems unfortunate that you do seem to flippantly disregard a lot of perspectives, but i am more curious as to your response to our voice, sound, and message.
i don't suppose you got an opportunity to give the music a good listen, did you?

I really liked the third eye
I really liked the third eye song. Keep your vibration up, fuck dem reptiles.
And zezt, it's good that you value indigenous visions, but that doesn't mean that we are very far removed from nature. We are nature, too. There are honest visions within ourselves already, even in a toxic culture. As far as the conspiracy researchers go, a lot of them are just gathering information and presenting what they find, and we are not suckers for being interested. Why is so much information being suppressed? Who wants to control us?
I for one would rather not live in these cities anymore, and I'd trade it in for pure visions and a simple life. In the future, yes. As for now, there is no reason not seek knowledge... it's the only way out.
suppression
it seems that we have more of a tendency to silence others in our communities. big brother isn't saying "don't talk about that" --- yet. it's always the way we silence each other that keeps people in line, so to speak.
i hope that we can learn to foster critical thought while still giving voice to those at the margins, what is considered "fringe" may become useful knowledge when shit hits fan (which it is...)

They'll be comin' 'round the mountain
"big brother isn't saying "don't talk about that" --- yet."

Check out page 5 of this link if you're a fellow explorer of the macabre. 4th on the list of "drivers/threats" deserving of the FBI's attention since at least 2004.
While the guns haven't come out yet. There are powerful forces observing and taking notes that's for sure... I fit nicely in the cozy little compartment they've outlined as a the 4th greatest "driver/threat."
As for the album, nice piece of work. Really dig the Latin flavor in track 4 "Death To a Snake."
Righto
Thanks.
About the link, I don't think they realize (FBI) the meanings behind the jargon they use---"material interests?" And then they go on to define the risks as being Anti-Americanism and difficulty recruiting Muslims? Funny, but confusing as well.

Also
realize that their jobs shouldn't define them.
We've all got a part to play in this evolution, regardless which side of revolution you're on...
I remember hearing Jordan Maxwell talking about the FBI and CIA,, and his experiences...the FBI guys actually seemed to like him, or at least clue him in on what he was saying that he should be "careful" about concerning the CIA cats.
Still, there's absolutely NO WAY we can live our lives in fear of these agencies. As long as Alex Jones is running off with his bullhorn. They take him and, say Immortal Technique, and then I'll get concerned.
Still, none of these so-called "revolutionary" cats are on a spiritual tip in their work, so I wonder if that really concern the GVT more. I doubt it, since they don't even seem to know what they mean when they say "material affairs"...

Mmm
Alex Jones, He is quite the bull. I admire his craft in that he has built a large shelter for the inherently invulnerating act of dissent.
I do think the Gvt understands the the energy of the spirit, albeit with a limited scope (who really has a sure grip on the ether). They (gvt) have been reasonably successful in quelling, by diversion and isolation, the inate compulsion to transition. Simply implying loss of value in material affairs speaks a great deal to me as to where they are poking, and it is in the ball park. Amy Goodman reported yesterday: "US Military Funds Mind Reading Researching
The US military has issued $4 million in grants to university researchers to study ways to read people’s thoughts. According to the Associated Press, the military says the research could someday lead to a gadget capable of translating the thoughts of soldiers who suffered brain injuries in combat or even stroke patients in hospitals. But critics say such mind-reading technology could be used during interrogations. The project is a collaboration among researchers at the University of California, Irvine; Carnegie Mellon University; and the University of Maryland."

i spend plenty of time on my music, thank you.
that's why i share it when it's finished.
this happens to be a forum for discussion and discourse, and that's what i was hoping to spur.
how are we supposed to move forward if we can't talk about where we stand? it seems like you're just yet another RS commenter who gets on here to feel all pretentious and more-radical-than-thou, and frankly it's a big turn-off when folks like me consider posting stuff that will resonate with readers.
in short, there's not one mention here about the actual content from you, so why the f-k do you post?
a hearty finger to you, mr. domino.
