Remixing Sound and Sight

A musical project called the charm/strange experience by composer Gina Fontana and visual artist Corey Bechelli remixes emerging philosophy and performance art with the blending of light and sound. With their EP, "Let Go of the Ego", which you can experience live at the Philly Fringe Festival this week, fluid art is created in tandem to the vibratory rhythms of the music.
The vibrations from the music offer subtle energies that effect consciousness, and it is these energies that Bechelli utilizes in his creation.
Bechelli is also involved with a similar musical endeavor called Blown Away, which involves more instrumentation and also utilizes a live photoshop-to-projector feed allowing the audience to see on screen these fluid shapes created in beat to the music.
