Dean Radin, Chief scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences has appeared on Oprah, is scheduled to speak at the United Nations and recently gave a talk at Google about clairvoyance, telepathy and precognition.

Radin shares insights about his research in psi phenomena in a new episode of Post Modern Times called "Psychic Scientist."

For over two decades Radin has been engaged in consciousness research at Princeton University, The University of Edinburgh, The University of Nevada, and three Silicon Valley think-tanks, including SRI International, where he worked on a classified program investigating psychic phenomena for the US government. For a decade he worked on advanced telecommunications reasearch and development at AT&T Bell Laboratories and GTE Laboratories.

He is the author of the bestselling books The Conscious Universe (HarperOne, 1997) and Entangled Minds (Simon & Schuster, 2006.

I met Dean at the IONS conference last August, attending two workshops with him. He's got a dry sense of humor, and a gift for patient explanation of complex topics.

Entangled Minds is highly readable, real science from the Edge.

As Robert Anton Wilson termed it, this quirky connectedness with trickster ethics, The Cosmic Giggle, has paradox built in at the factory. John Lilly had the expression: Earth Coincidence Control Office, or ECCO. I have this weird shit crop up in waves, then the mundane reasserts itself. Practices which thin the veil, odd molecules or meditative fu, do it too. Ever swing two mirrors nearly parallel, and look into the recursive regressing space between? Mind grokking mind, grokking mind, etc.
