On Sunday, March 25th, in an exclusive online Evolver Intensive video salon with Daniel Pinchbeck, the scientist Nassim Haramein will discuss his controversial work that posits the existence of an unlimited source of energy, accessible through understanding the deep structure of matter. His theory proposes that we can only reach this transformative threshold by undergoing a shift in consciousness.  In "Power to the People", a unique one-time webinar, he and Daniel Pinchbeck will explore the physics behind his hypotheses, how this technology could become available to humanity, and what type of transformation of planetary consciousness is necessary as part of this process.

Nassim Haramein has received international acclaim for his multimedia presentations, which are thought provoking, educational and entertaining for the layman and physics enthusiast alike. His lifelong exploration into the geometry of spacetime has resulted in a new and exciting comprehensive Unification theory, which leads to a coherent understanding of the fundamental structure and model of the Universe. In his extraordinary presentations, Nassim takes his audience on a journey through humanity's evolution, the sciences of physics, chemistry and biology, and then to the wisdom and codes of the ancients. As he weaves together all these elements an exciting unified tapestry develops--which may prove to be one of the most important scientific, philosophical and technological discoveries of our time.

On March 25th (3PM EST), you can partake in a discussion with the scientist from anywhere in the world using your laptop.  You'll have the chance to ask your questions directly using your mic and webcam.  Don't miss what promises to be a mind-expanding discussion about physics and consciousness and the connections between them.

scientist?

Like many of us who post on this site, I am acutely aware of the limits of the scientific method as an epistemology, especially when bound to rational materialism. That said, the word "scientific" and "scientist" should not be used improperly.

Referring to Mr. Haramein's work as "scientific" and to him as a "scientist" is misleading to Reality Sandwhich's readership. While his ideas may have value outside the scientific paradigm, they are not and he is not, "scientific" in the strict sense of the word.

Mr. Haramein has no formal scientific training, is associated with no university or privately owned laboratory other than his own organization, and has obvious mathematical flaws in his printed works (see below for an in-depth critique).

Representing Mr. Haramein as a scientist in the introduction above is misleading and tarnishes the credibility of future posts to Reality Sandwich.

credibility issues

this has been one of the over arching criticisms of RS and community - a little out of balance when it come these sorts of things.

Yet, like yourself, I still find myself back here regardless :/

thank you for the link

Being an arm-chair physicist of no standing i intitially was drawn to the spin aspect of Haramein's work, but Nassim lost me early on when he offered his ideas on the pyramids...(not even in the ball park- from exstensive readings on the subject i've done- as i recall).

I applaud your (& the critic at the link who essentially outs Nassim as a non-scientist) restraint & overall generosity by not simply shouting down the guy. Physics people often get stupid nasty on line & i'm weary of it.

word

Like I said above, the only thing that seems incorrect to me is introducing him as a scientist, that's all. I enjoy speculating metaphysically myself, but am wary when labels are used incorrectly. One can be rational yet still be open to many possibilities in the universe beyond rationalism, it's just important and helpful to know at what point the leaps of logic are being made. It's also important not to use false mathematics to support your speculation and then call it a "scientific theory", a term which also has specific meaning. To do so is, whether intentional or not, quite misleading. That said, I do return to Reality Sandwich because for every article I find dubious, I also find two or three articles which are well-written, researched and informative. To Daniel Pinchbeck: How do you respond to this discussion?

hang up the phone

this is a really funny string of comments. is a word really something to get hung up on? i'm not trying to make fun of anybody. it just seems so ridiculous to talk about something so silly. and i mean ridiculous in a good way, as in something to laugh at and not something to be ridiculed. so don't get me wrong. i'm not looking down my nose at anyone. if anybody is any less interested in this webinar because of the word 'scientist' then i suppose it wasn't meant for them. the planetary shift in consciounsess is already flowering and this webinar is just one of its innumerable blossoms, a mere sea shell in a sea of shells. if it is any consolation to those who may be worried about whether this webinar, or this website, will be sufficient in helping humanity transition into a sustainable way of life, i assure you there isn't anything to worry about. really the only thing we can do is recognize the kinds of attitudes that stand in the way of our personal participation in this epic transformation, and then drop them. what has helped me personally to do this is the daily practice of transcendental meditation. but i've heard there are lots of ways. i wonder what Nassim Haramein and Daniel Pinchbeck have to say about it.

Er

Yeah, words aren't really important. All they do is convey meaning and reality. It's not like they really have anything to do with the integrity of communication. It's not like certain words are meant to imply a certain expertise or authority.

That's why I introduce myself as "interplanetary god-like being Ray Wakila" even if in reality I'm just your garden variety international man of mystery.

Speaking of Words...

The word Science originates in the following:

Etymology of Science: c.1300, "knowledge (of something) acquired by study," also "a particular branch of knowledge," from O.Fr. science, from L. scientia "knowledge," from sciens (gen. scientis), prp. of scire "to know," probably originally "to separate one thing from another, to distinguish,"...

It's only recently that the word science or "being a scientist" requires some connection to academia or institution.

Time to reclaim words. Power to the People! ;)

There's so much out there now to study, so many "branches of knowledge", so many uncertainties - it's not entirely necessary to adhere to old, institutionalized, official-rules-of-the-game.

Whether in respect to words, or... energy.

Haramein Work

In the classical sense haramein paper on the schwarschild proton work is valid and has been peer reviewed. And yes some of his calculations as he has commented were cherry picking, but it still doesn't invalidate his theory. In his new work on a scaling law for matter in the universe which is based upon frequency and the schwarschild radius he tries to be more rigorous in his calculations.

What is good about this criticism, it is forcing him to be a better researcher.  I am not a physicist but due to his collaboration with a physicist named EA Rauscher who has a Phd in Physics, the paper follows most of the protocols. However, it is not a experimental paper but a thesis of a new way of viewing the quantum reality through a holographic perspective. Many of you are right who commented that he isn't a practicing scientist in the classical sense nor was Nicola Tesla and he invented electric generators and AC current. And yes he has a ego and proclaims to figure out some of the paradoxes in physics. But the schwarschild proton idea is brilliant in the fact that it is the holographic insights of showing that all the information of matter in the universe is held within its quantum density of its surface area is a valid way to explain quantum gravity.

The holographic principle is one of the leading theories behind quantum gravity and string theory. For more info http://wp.me/p2aq6w-6

Peer review

"In the classical sense haramein paper on the schwarschild proton work is valid and has been peer reviewed."

Really? Where was it peer reviewed? Can you give a source?

Reference for Schwarschild Proton Paper

Nassim Haramein’s award winning scientific paper, “The Schwarzschild Proton,” has passed the peer review process and has been published at the American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Proceedings. The table of contents of the proceedings book can be found on their site, and the abstract can be found here.

This wasn't a formal peer review but was judged against other papers submitted by physicist. Also, here is a link by Haramein himself that tries to address the debunking link the previous comments listed. http://theresonanceproject.org/bob-a-thon

He doesn't address all the issues of bob-a-thon and clearly Haramein hasn't answered all the ramifications of his physics but the standard model has many areas which are unclear - especially in the area of the source of mass and of dark energy. But bob-a-thon views that haramein is just nonsense is missing the point of some of his arguments.

Other than bob-a-thon, here are some testimonials from real physicist that support Nassim work: http://theresonanceproject.org/testimonials

Just give me the blood, Lord!

Just give me the free energy machine and let me be on my way! Yes Nassim Haramein and Nikola Tesla are totally comparable.... I doubt Nassim would want us to do that. Its strange that there are no RS articles about Tesla's world wireless system. What many do no realize is that the physics involved in the world wireless system, which at the time was criticized as mad, has since been confirmed and can be found on wikipedia. For instance, Longitudinal waves exist in spherical waveguides (the earth) surrounded by a dielectric (the atmosphere), and in plasma (the ionosphere). The ionosphere is constantly being charged by solar wind. sure would be cool to make an extreme low frequency resonant receiver. In order to do that we need to get talented scientists, engineers, and people with supplies/money on the same page. that and possibly every government with the means to interfere... unless of course the overunity community, of which i am a fan, has produced a device that delivers. that would be great. lets see it!
