Alaska's polar bears are headed for extinction by 2050.  These beloved creatures of the north have had no help from Bush Administration policies that allow for global warming, pollution, and Arctic oil exploration to continue.

Help reverse these "polluter-first" policies by sending a message to the Obama Adminstration urging full-fledged protection for Alaska's polar bears.

Additionally, Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin and some of America's biggest polluters recently unleashed a legal attack designed to strip the polar bear of its few federal protections so they can open up the Arctic to further oil and mining development.

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is fighting in two separate federal courtrooms to turn back attacks on the polar bear. Donate here to help support their efforts.

Mean and dangerous?

How do you know polar bears are mean and dangerous, have you ever met one? And furthermore, ill blame you for all the good it would do, it still doesnt change the fact that its a problem.
