The Planet Within

How can our species learn to see the dangers of global warming more acutely? A powerful analogy comes from the world of science. Medical scientists now realize that our bodies are like planets, hosts to a variety of species.
Actually, 90% of our bodies are not our own; they are filled with microbes. Eight legged creatures live in our eyelashes, on the tongue, skin, hair, and everywhere else. Our bodies, like the planet Earth, are host to an entire ecosystem of different microbial beings, all with their own little bodies. And the human body, like the planet, occasionally erupts when certain microbes make trouble: herpes, athletes foot, etc.
Understanding the ecosystem of our own bodies will hopefully lead us to acquiring healthier realizations of our planet’s ecosystem and our place as two-legged creatures on its surface.

Microcosm and Macrocosm
Nice to see contemporary science rediscovering its roots in the itchy folicles of the divine beard - the original non-dual alchemical science seems to have been comfortable with the verminous body in a way that our cleaned and preened lab realms are not. Stay away from the pharma-clique underarm spray - that was Rimbaud's message.
The recent reports about the sun turning up the temp on her system might be relevant here - is the sensual body getting so hot that our choice will be to recognise its original divinity or lose ourselves in fogs of artificial odour?
Can those microbial beings be hosts to ever tinier micro beings? Do they spray...?
Can the architecture of eternity change?
i agree
i really agree with what Thomas has written.our body consists of many micro organisms. ----------------------------------------- Davis.
