Peacemakers Paving The Way

This summer, The Gathering of the Peacemakers in North Carolina's Blue Rdige Mountains will mix workshops, music, culture, and consciousness into seven days of positive living. Founded by authors Julia and Robert Roskind, the week-long event will include lessons in solar and wind energy, waste recycling, bio-dynamic gardening, alternative healing, intentional communities, wilderness tracking, yoga, and conscious parenting. Mayan Elder Tata Pedro Cruz will also share Mayan prophecy and calender predictions. Evening activities include drumming circles and live music featuring Corey Harris, Dub Conscious, Laura Reed and Deep Pocket, Afromotive, Ras Alan, and Chalwa.

Having written books on Jamaican Rasta, Hopi spiritualism, and 2012, the Roskinds have since devoted their resources to spreading a message of unconditional love. Their mission is to "realign people back on their path of love and unity... preparing people--physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually--for the coming decades of intense change."
