The Owl Tribe Tour

Evolver is a proud media sponsor of rapper/electro artist Kellee Maize's Owl Tribe Tour, a non-traditional cross-country tour described as “a fusion between the Occupy Movement, a spiritual pilgrimage & a Burning Man traveling circus." Details below:

Featuring Kellee Maize & the Wumanity Clan ‘being the change they wish to see’

Kellee has assembled The Wumanity Clan to join her in this tour effort, which includes 9 women from all over the US & Mexico that are both artists and healers, a 6 year old sage, and a Male Aztec Dancer."

What makes this a non-traditional tour?
“We will strive to demonstrate what we feel can evolve humanity, such as sharing resources, group meditation/yoga, stewardship of the planet, working in groups for community healing, eating locally, educating youth & most importantly, LOVE”, says Kellee. “We will try to eat a primarily raw local diet, create an internal gift economy, & sleep on the earth when possible.” The crew describes their work as creating mobile “transformation stations” & they plan to “pop up” wherever they are led to offer Kellee’s music, community yoga, dance, Reiki healings, handcrafts, healing food & more. The tour demonstrates “living in the moment” & spontaneity at its finest with planned shows only at the beginning, middle and end.
Tour inspiration:
The Owl Tribe Tour was inspired by the Wumanity Earth Native Church, Kellee’s fan community dubbed “Owl Tribe”, and the indigenous medicine of the owl, as the owl represents bringing an end to things that no longer serve us, feminine energy, wisdom, intuition and seeing through darkness or deception.
