Our Fragile "Home"

Filmmaker Yann Arthus-Bertrand's new documentary Home explores the fragility of Earth's ecosystem and the damage it incurs as a result of human over-consumption.  Everything from factory farms to wasted solar energy opportunities are investigated.  Ironically, the film is funded by PPR, a French company who is the maker of Gucci and Puma.  Home originally aired last Friday, June 12th on the National Geographic channel.  It will also be sold as a digital download and on DVD.  Portions of the profits will go towards conservation efforts.  Versions of the film will be narrated in 15 languages and shown around the world at discounted rates and in many areas for free.  It will also be available via YouTube.
