The Occult States of America

Join writers Mitch Horowitz and Erik Davis in Big Sur, CA from February 19-21 for a weekend-long workshop on the occult history of America.  Although it may be a young country, America has a long history of occult mysteries. From deals with the devil and voodoo, to the childhood use of a Ouija board and horror films, ideas of mysticism are constantly morphing and changing in America. These phenomenon have worked their way into the cultural patchwork of the western world and awoken an interest in alternative spirituality.

The authors will lead guests through a journey of mystic history, from the origins of mystical philosophies, to freemasonry, to the 21st century New Age explosion and many movements in between. The weekend of lectures will not only give guests a new understanding of America, but will also expose them to the spiritual ancestors who helped to shape the current understanding of the occult.

The workshop will take place at Esalen Institute, an educational institute located on the northern coast of california, that has been exploring the possibilities of human potential since the 1960's. For information about accommodations, click here.

The forces that are behind

The forces that are behind the building of America are of an extremely dark sort. The idea behind it was (from the very beginning and before) to build the foundation of a global empire bent on tyranny instead of harmony. That is precisely what the United States is. The symbols are on the 1 dollar bill. The spiritual antithesis of this dark project lies within the soul of Native America. If this latter concept isn't presented or examined during these lectures, the event will not be complete. The heart of the matter rests firmly within the heart of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Probably the greatest secret of all. The Native peoples of this hemisphere are the primary obstacle (in a spiritual sense) toward the building of this global tyranny which is why they are the most oppressed and marginalized people on the globe (or at least in the Americas).

In these tough times, people are trying to find ways to save as much money with their expenses. One of the biggest expenses that can be reduced by consumers is gas costs – you can save a lot of money and never worry about needing payday loans to fill the tank again.  For instance – comparison shop gas stations and try to fill up at club reward stations, such as Safeway or Costco.  You can also reduce weight in the vehicle (more weight=more drag=more fuel used) by de-cluttering your car.  Stop your lead footing, and walk or take the bus whenever possible.  Also, do as much preventative maintenance as possible.  A cleaner, better maintained motor operates at higher efficiency, which means more miles per gallon of fuel.

Since the Haiti earthquake I have become very interested in Ric Clays work on the Occult 2012 Olympics . He Died some would say of unnatural causes . I only have gone back to this because he mention port o prince . I watched it again and this time decided to look into the speech by prince charles via hologram . In the speech he makes many mentions to Mazda which i assume is the god Ahura Mazda and at the end of the speech he mentions the tempest i googled both and think there is much in the referencing of these two storeys i mean I mean the story is something like this king and his daughter land on this island where this godless heathen lives they try to get on the heathen shows them where to find food they teach him science and religion they have a fallout and the king enslaves the monster check out these lines. Her son, Caliban, a deformed monster and the only non-spiritual inhabitant before the arrival of Prospero, was initially adopted and raised by him. He taught Prospero how to survive on the island, while Prospero and Miranda taught Caliban religion and their own language. Following Caliban's attempted rape of Miranda, he had been compelled by Prospero to serve as the sorcerer's slave, carrying wood and gathering berries and "pig nuts" (acorns). In slavery, Caliban has come to view Prospero as a usurper and has grown to resent him and his daughter. Prospero and Miranda in turn view Caliban with contempt and disgust. I am sure as we get closer to 2012 our powers of magic are becoming so much stronger but as they are in control of most humans power to dose theres we need to wake up I can understand why they would want a few of us gone but the real answer is rejecting Greed ,desire,and vanity these things they introduced to us its so hypocritical to kill us all although I agree we should have known better and going back to a more harmonious way with the creator getting rid of the TV and useing our magik . My hopes are that this is part of a devine plan by god to show us evil so when our powers become full we will know the wrong way. And as creators in our own right we can work on a better future . I continue my work looking into movies and the esoteric link to our reality are they made with a hidden agenda or is it they are a a reflection of mans desire to win this battle . and who it the half blood prince, luke skywalker,blade,harry potter and so on its strange in blade the bad guys are sick of humans and consider them as food. any ideas would love to share ideas
