This video is worth watching, not only for the ideas involved, but for some pretty hilarious grammatical errors as well.

wouldn't a four year mistake make it 2008. did this guy do his math wrong and hes retarded or did he mean 2007 but didn't say why its five years before the 2012 date cause i noticed at the later part of his video showing the diagrams that it would say 2007/8 can he not make up his mind

 yeah there's some grammar errors, some funny stuff, I think that 4/5 year thing has been called into question elsewhere (and resolved?) but hey... why not a big shift now? A big surprise. That would be a real novelty.

It all seems a bit related to the notion that "the fool looks at the finger that points to the moon".

It's nice to see that all the buzz around Zeitgeist and Mayan prophesy has blossomed into a new sub-genre of web humor videos. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then...! 

Why am I not surprised that this ancient conspiracy prominently features comedically tenuous connections to the JOOZ.

we shouldn't put to much stock in hyped up dates we have no connection to. I hear skeptics compare the 2012 buzz to Y2K paranoia. in the main I think that comparison is totally unjust as Y2K could never have been considered more than a speculative theory with potentially alarming consequences, and the Mayan calander is based on an ancient knowledge system that seems clearly to go beyond the western understanding of space and time in crucial ways. from studying the surface of contemporary Mayan scholarship, I am thoroughly convinced that something... is up. i even admit i've become rather sold on the 2012 hype, but perhaps too quickly so. i still don't know shit about the mayan calindrical system itself or how it works or what understanding of the cosmos it is based on. i couldn't even tell you what phase the moon is in most of the time, and i'm starting to think that this is what i should work on first. mayan dates are probably not arbitrary, but they may well be strictly esoteric. if you're waiting for Reality to pop like a baloon full of alien candy at midnight 12/21/12, I wouldn't hold my breath.

While I'm not too convinced by the specifics of this video or the research, I admit, I like the idea. Any forthcoming changes are perhaps reflected in the present in strange ways.

On December 21, 2007, late in the day, I experienced some fleeting yet profound sense that everything around me was so tremendously antiquated. It felt as though everything was "wooden", computer, walls, electronics etc took on a strange organic quality. For a moment, it seemed, matter had perhaps revealed itself as the all that it is.

This was a special day for me, anyways. It was probably one of the best days I've had in a while. I had a hearing that day, and got to my Lawyers office that morning to find a plea agreement taking me out of way of a felony for cannabis possession. They dropped that charge, and I'm only getting a paraphernalia infraction. No drug charge. Got a new car on that exact same day- too. A couple things happened.. but nothing that I would count as a huge "shift" My most recent relationship, it ended one day before 2300 days (before)Dec 21st 2012 . I last saw her 2300 days from this date. I was in jail on the anniversary of this breakup (for the infraction that I learned the good news on Dec 21st, this year).. I had already spent 24 hours in jail. I was arrested at almost exactly the same time I began talking to my ex, exactly one year ago. A little before. ..... But I was in jail for exactly one day, and that was the one-year breakup anniversary. I was pulled over, initially, for straps hanging over a license plate I had gotten a day shy of a year ago, at that time (the day I last saw my ex.. drove there, put it on that day). The license plate that started with 93, the date of 2300 days from 2012 was 9/3/2006 (in some areas). anyawys... anyways. Anyways.. I think they universe is constantly in some form of harmonic convergence, anyways. How else do you get us, and the stories of synchronicity contained? Perhaps at this date we'll see something spectacular. Something told me earlier this year... something felt "off" (or possibly, on)... "2012" felt a lot closer... But.. it is..

the dude made some gramatical errors and, i admit, doesn't have much of an ethos overall, but what about the 5 year descrepancy argument? can someone who has studied the astronology/history of the 2012 thing get in here and debunk this thing if it is debunkable? i mean, HAVE we passed the supposed center, or did this guy make errors? i share the view that the best way to think about our transformation is as something that IS HAPPENING as opposed to something that WILL happen on a certian date, but still, kind of a dissapointment 12-21-07 was. i'm going to have a hard time looking foreward to 2012 until someone clears this issue up.

Ecolocal: I posted this, not because I concur so much with the data, but because it swirls time a bit, mixes things up and at the very least, throws a wildcard into the situation. And, as "personal proof" as I commented above, I had some sort of out-of-the-blue strange experience that day.

Now, do I have any predications of what might happen in 2012 - yes and no. I can't say anything specific, that would be absurd, things are always changing. But something will happen, to be sure - in the same way something always happens. Yet, there is the opportunity for some great things to happen in 2012 or before or after.

What will that be? As I initially said, "Decide for yourself."

Humans are so frickin' lazy, we talk about "2012" like its a movie premiere or a sale at Barneys. What if nothing HAPPENS or is going to "happen"?
