Kundalini and the Human Laser

kundalinibg.jpg

I originally shared this because I had a close encounter w/ Death and felt this story should be part of the social record and to muster support for some independent research I have in mind involving hyperbaric chambers. I haven't got any positive results yet from the Science community, probably due to the fantastic nature of the story and its roots in what appears to be pure debauchery. I would contend that it was an exercise in Yoga; after all my aim was Divine Union. Following this experience I stopped all meditation practice and augmentations but experienced quite a bit of clairvoyance for several years. I hope you view this with some objectivity and will find the time to write back to me; I will respond in kind.

I will make this disclosure short and sweet and attempt to relate a very long and complex series of events as succinctly as possible. I discovered the power of nitrogen deep under the Monterey Bay. The ecstatic experiences below led me to the somewhat safer utilization of nitrous oxide in the comfort of my own bed. As a rescue diver I was familiar with mixed gas and oxygen use and took advantage of the protection of pure oxygen during extended sessions. Over a period of two years of intensive use many esoteric mysteries were revealed.

Before I describe the setting of this archetypical hero's journey, a bit of personal background may be appropriate. I was raised to be very independent, mostly due to the lack of parental involvement typical of the sixties. In 1969 at the age of twelve I had the first of many psychedelic trips and was also introduced to Vedanta by my Unitarian minister. Several years prior, my grandmother had committed suicide; the war and political assassinations had a profound effect. The mysteries of Eastern philosophy and its view of death preoccupied my adolescence.

In my senior year of high school I moved into a Sikh ashram run by the Kundalini and Tantric master Yogi Bhajan and spent four years practicing
meditation and yoga. I left while studying art at university for the love of a woman outside the "Healthy, Happy, Holy" community. I spent many
years after that wandering without ambition (I thought this to be a virtue) till finally ending up studying psychobiology. By graduation, I was married with
my first child on the way. I worked in several laboratories doing analytical chemistry and microbiology, more out of necessity than interest.
By the time my second child came, my marriage was in ruins; my wife was the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, we were both pretty Self-absorbed.

After our divorce my new occupation afforded much leisure time and I indulged in an intense search for identity through self-reflection and self-gratification. I learned to let go and dance, which became an almost nightly activity since I had invested in a local nightclub. I took up scuba diving and frequented art classes at the community college. One pivotal day while listening to the radio, I heard Bill Moyers interviewing Coleman Barks. When he read Rumi's "Love Dogs" I was hooked. Another Rumi poem became my directive and set the stage for my experimentation with nitrous oxide.

"Leave the rind and descend into the pith, Fold within fold, the beloved drowns in its own being."

Over a period of two years I consumed hundreds of pounds of nitrous oxide, always with the safeguard of pure oxygen augmentation. I built a regulator system that warmed the dangerously cold gas by running it through a hundred feet of copper tubing before going through a tilt valve (like those used to fill helium balloons) that had a 90-degree barbed irrigation drip system fitting and about seven feet of plastic tubing attached. All that was needed was a gentle tug to get the gas flowing for each inhalation.

My routine included tending the garden, going to the beach, and lying in the sun, spending time floating in the waves; I delighted in sitting on the sand in the surf zone and allowing the waves to crash into me. I became an avid sunset inline skater and still enjoy dancing slalom with three-pound diving weights in hand along the shoreline cliffs. After that I would spend hours Congolese drumming before going to the nightclub for an evening of dance. When I got home the nitrous bottle was at the foot of the bed and I would put a fractal video on the tube, turn off the lights, and descend into the pith for hours.

The serious journey only began when I asked out loud the all-important question: "Who am I?"

I immediately found myself clothed in beautiful silk robes with a similarly dressed woman in my arms falling through the void. A large oriental-looking woman's face was beneficently smiling down upon our decent, her face like the sun shining down upon us. I was then standing in front of a huge bell in a Hokusai landscape in the body of a very old man.

I won't go into all the trials and tribulations of navigating the unconscious; suffice it to say it took a long time to get past the many distractions. The key was a strong will to get to the source and avoiding any attachment whatsoever to the parade of phantasms. Eventually I noticed what looked like a receding star field like the old computer screen savers, and used it as a reference that I would focus on getting my attention behind, presumably to its source. After some time practicing this technique, I developed a strange baseball-bat-shaped rod of light rooted in my forehead. It was almost immediately covered by what I can only describe as coral-reef-like creatures glomming on to it. I remember swinging it around a bit and, being true to my detachment regime, compassionately allowing them to stay; I still wonder if that was wise. This rod of light -- I thought of it at the time as my "cone of attention" -- would play an important role later in another body.

At the beginning of a session I would usually find myself in what appeared to be a Hell-like dimension. I visited and relived many historic atrocities,
sometime as an observer, at other times deep in the blood lust. Luckily, and definitely by Grace, I could usually extricate myself by remaining fearlessly detached; what I thought of as "buoyant ascension" would follow. The worlds above the Hell realms had their own temptations and tests. I remember spending hundreds of years as an arrow-straight gigantic cedar. Another memorable event aside from the opulent Grecian temples, beautiful women, hurricane dances and the like was a moment where a pleasant crowd surrounded me. I was lying on a table with a giant Cyclops looking down on me about to cut off my head. My only thought was to remember to smile!

As my ascension proceeded, the beings I encountered became more and more odd. At one point I was a quasar; a motherly nearby star told me that rhythm was all there is and her partner told me above all to be beautiful. Later I found myself with the body of a Godzilla-like creature accompanied by a Nordic goddess. We were standing in front of a large pillar of blue light. I laughed uproariously and stepped into the light. I immediately found myself seated in a circle with eight other human-looking beings. The woman seated next to me had very long, flowing hair; she petted my head, telling me to calm down and relax. I didn't stay but a moment before launching myself up into space.

I was now in the body of a Dragon zooming around enjoying the power of that body. I could see the circle of people far below. My body was a dragon but it had some strange features. I had a single large headlight like the search light on a train and my head was sort of fuzzy like a caterpillar. My consciousness was sort of like the captain of a ship in that there were some subordinates aboard. I ordered an "alignment" to the woe of the "crew" and swung the light, my "cone of attention" in and down the spine. What I saw looked like triangles of light coming together as the body straightened; it felt like fuel rods being pushed into a nuclear reactor.

I recognized the triangles taking the form of the Sri Yantra just as fire came shooting up from its center towards me. I yelled "abort" but it was too late. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache.

As miraculous as all that sounds it is at least within the bounds of the symbolic known. Obviously it was a Kundalini awaking of sorts, though as pointed
out to me by Baba Hari Das, it occurred in a body not human. What occurred several times after that initiation was truly startling. After a short hiatus, and having healed from the ensuing Bell's palsy, I started into a fresh session.

Before getting very deep, between inhalations, a golden triangle appeared floating in the air before me in my bedroom. From the triangle a thin beam of multicolored light was shining on my forehead. It was only about a millimeter thick, the color was odd in that it looked like flecks of all the colors of the rainbow. It had a tight beam and speckle like a laser. Maybe I should have known better but I slowly turned my head to look up the beam with my left eye. What I saw looked like a giant opal, the most beautiful living opal you can imagine. And then it was gone.

I spent a few more very trippy nights swimming through the sun and sticking my head into bubbles to find people inside acting out various dramas on earth. I found myself in a huge room sitting in a chair floating in the center of what looked like millions of television tubes again linked to a myriad of people's perspectives. Then deep one night an embryonic figure appeared floating before me with the same multi-colored laser linking our foreheads. He was speaking to me, I could see his mouth moving but I couldn't hear anything. I said "I can't hear you," and a moment later the light went horizontal and the rainbow became distinct. Then he disappeared. I had the feeling I had been downloaded somehow.

A few days later, before my first sip of the gas, for some reason I decided to see if I could call up the little fellow. I concentrated on the space before me and slowly a rainbowed cloud appeared and suddenly a beam lit up. There was no one at the other end as far as I could tell. I yelled to my new girlfriend to come see but the effort dissipated the beam. That night I found myself in a sort of graduation celebration. I was in a beautiful chorus linked with other beings in a formation like that of a head of wheat. Close by was a dais of sorts with bridges at either end. There was a being sitting on a throne in the center and a dozen or so others standing on the bridges. I remember we all held our breath as a baby being held by one of the consorts let out a cry. Then to our relief the throned figure took the baby and held it high and we all broke into ecstatic song. I was offered a new role as an androgynous being. I wasn't sure exactly what that meant but I declined the offer because I had just fallen in love and felt she would suffer with my passage. I had a woman advocating for me with the authority to keep some kind of channel open for me but it was denied and a web that appeared vegetative grew to obscure my vision. Next I was flying through space with a cute cherub-looking girl who guided me to a flower in which I plunged to find myself lying in bed.

At this point I knew the journey was complete and there was no point in returning. I dabbled a few more times but I was never to reach the same
heights. I married the love of my life and vowed to live the life of the responsible householder. I did however take a keen interest in lasers and
studied lasers and optics for a while.

My laser teacher stunned me when he said Nitrogen lasers were the "whores" of lasers; they would lase at the drop of a hat, had many transition states, and didn't even need a whole resonant chamber. I have experienced the human body's capacity to become a laser. We are swimming in a sea of mostly
nitrogen. The spinal cord and brain have a central area filled with light transmitting liquid, the cerebrospinal fluid. The fluid is surrounded by a powerful electrodic system capable of stimulating emission. The "Cone of Attention" I would later learn is much like the "cone of acceptance" in fiber-optic lingo. This is a capability we are evolving into and will lead to better communication. Prior to the early sixties no one could have possibly referred to lasers with respect to the Kundalini phenomenon and secretive descriptions are rife with arcane language.  All I am saying is that it is a feedback phenomenon related to self-reflection.  For a concise description of the known mechanics see UC Berkley professor Kurt Keutzer’s “Kundalini FAQs”

How could you reach the pearl by only looking at the sea? If you seek the pearl, be a diver. ~Rumi

I didn't mention it but my journey's crescendo occurred during the passage of the Hyutake comet known as the "HurryUp" comet.

It's all about Beauty, Rhythm and I might add better Communication that will save our beautiful planet.

One last revelation occurred just the other night in a dream following the decision to share my journey. The pyramids of Egypt were hyperbaric chambers!

I have many safe experiments in mind that could speed up our Compassionate Evolution. Please respond with your supportive suggestions.

Lost and Found

Found: one Earth Chakra (Muladhara), rarely used. Owner believed lost somewhere between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Bro- if you are interested in Compassionate Evolution then may I suggest you simply focus on being compassionate. No need for elaborate ventilators. As for the energy within our cerebrospinal fluid, what do you think has been running the show all along? Why do you insist on projecting some spiritual/sci-fi fantasy about some future possibility onto an aspect of our inherent bioenergetics that is fully operational? Be. Here. Now. Peace

nice one third chakra man!

it's amazing that third circuit chakra, eh? it really can highlight simply how to be right by making others wrong in the most astounding of ways!

Language limitations

Dear Embodied Now, You are obviously an accomplished and compassionate being living in the Present yet your perceived reaction to my story, through the language of your post, seems rather hostile. I don't think that was your intention but it is a perfect example of why we as a species better transcend language as our main M.O. in a hurry. BTW, I am not insisting on anything but I do believe we are still evolving and are not yet fully functional...at least not all of us.

Nice Work! Very interested in hearing more about this...

My first reaction was "Who is this guy and how can I be his roommate?" this is very adventurous work! My second reaction is "how can I duplicate his methods myself?"

Really enjoyed reading your story, it reminded me plenty of John Lilly. I suggest, if you do not mind a gentle critique, is support some of your conclusions more, especially regarding the claims about nitrogen in our spinal fluid.

I would enjoy reading more on the 'scientific' aspect of your claim a bit more than I was able. You are a true pioneer, in my honest opinion, and are carving through a path that I wish to be updated on. Please continue to post more about your journeys.

Be Careful!

I wrote this hurriedly after almost being run down by a pizza delivery guy recently and apologize for its awkward brevity.  I will expand upon the "science" soon.

WARNING

I would like to say that I paid a heavy toll for my adventures and don't recommend this path unless you are truly driven and have a good relationship with your guardian angels.  Roommates reported seeing me in convulsions a few times!  I suffered many intense headaches and Bell's palsy.  I feel lucky to still have use of this body; many thanks to my Teachers, Grace and good karma.

My friend David Jay Brown  http://www.mavericksofthemind.com  reminds us:

"Heavy nitrous oxide use has been reported to cause nerve damage in some cases, like  peripheral neuropathy.  I always have a sublingual vitamin B-12 tablet under my tongue whenever I use it, as it can seriously deplete levels of this nutrient, which is essential for proper nerve functioning in the body."

I would also look into Sandoz's "Hydergine", another great invention of Albert Hoffmann, to anyone messing with the Oxygen flow to their brain. Also NO SMOKING around pure oxygen or Nitrous oxide, they both are super fire accelerators.

Mega groovacious

Really enjoyed reading this. Gotta agree with the above commenter- some of the more "science-esque" bits turned me off a little... Taken metaphorically it's all gravy but if I wanted to associate this with "objective" reality it'd take a little research. That said, you clearly are more learn-ed then I in matters relating to optics... Mostly what I know about lazers is they go great with funfur. I think the idea of "lazer" (z is more xtreme) consciousness is a great way of looking at sort of syncing up and focusing your body/mind's energy... I don't know if I'd take it literally in a biblical sense, if you know what I mean. Again, great article...

wow

The article on candida, which I found to be highly informative and relevant, gets removed... but THIS gets published??I find this highly disturbing, on many levels. And, I second what Embodiment now said so eloquently. What, may I ask is the ultimate purpose of what you are doing? Are you seeking something? Enlightenment? What have you learned? What relevance does this have for your readers? It sounds like you are doing substantial harm to your brain and nervous system.I'm not really trying to be harsh or negative here... it just seems really scary to me, and I'm trying to understand why one would do this.

the purpose is...

exploring the realm of consciousness from unique or different points of view, mapping out new models and coming back with an understanding to share with the community. it's not for everyone. but thank god for the psychonauts who brave to explore these arcane places.

You might as well ask why Salmon swim Upstream

I am not sure what I expect the effect of this story to be on it's readers.  I am just reporting on my experience as objectively as possible in response to a recent brush with death.  It might be viewed as irresponsible by those that prefer the current paradigms boundaries but I thought it was important to share.  I believe that the universe responds when the question "who am I?" is asked in ernest.  The part I played in the completion of the journey was applying unflagging attention diligently towards the Source. It was the greatest Love affair imaginable and I had a lot of help along the way. THANK YOU!!!

I would hope future studies would include hyperbaric chambers that are now available to lease; they are being used successfully now to treat Autism.

Thank you for sharing.  And

Thank you for sharing.  And I have to admit, it is an interesting read.   Not my chosen route, (nor the salmons, heh), but to each his own.  I am looking forward to reading more.

Take care of yourself.

peace.   :)

I said, "Thank you (God/Yahweh/Source/Being) for giving me so many wonderful experiences and being with me always. Thank you Thank you Thank you!""

BIRDS

We're learning to fly as a collective like birds... separating into twos and threes and fives and flocks, meeting in trees to discuss... at least that's my opinion as of late. Birds, flying together using eyes not to necessarily look at the SAME thing, but to be the eyes of the world and together see a whole by each of us scanning whats important... My eyes can't help but be drawn to the school of birds swimming in the skies... "Beautiful mysteries veiled in the air fluxing perceptions when we dare to be aware blinding light bliss... but what status is this? better saved for the reaper's kiss... what was plus what is equals whats to come see where weve begun feel the days sun work till works done feel the bonfire fun lifes energy flows from u and me FUELING the magic we see when we relax n let bee we don't have to strain to see the simplicity in all this chaos like fibonacci: 1 + 2 = 3" --Alexandra Llewellyn Pomeroy Be the change you want to see.

Rhythm

I would love having a conversation with you about rhythm and the congolese drumming you experience. Thank you, Sean

Photonic Crystals and Fluoride

The Pineal contains known photonic crystals that probably are the receivers of reflected and incoming beams while it is my experience that the frontal lobes modulate the outgoing beam created in the cerebral spinal fluid space. The beam I observed was in the visible frequency range but Nitrogen has many possible transition states so the system may be working at many levels all the time. The extreme stimulation I induced I don’t think is necessary for it to work invisibly somewhere in the electromagnetic spectrum in normal consciousness. We all may be lasing at subtler levels and this could explain the “sense of being stared at” proven by Sheldrake. The phenomenon may even affect our ability to “connect” and feel Empathy. It’s interesting that hyperbaric chambers are currently being used to treat Autism, a “disconnect” malady.

What would happen to a society that replaced or screwed up its natural calcium photonic crystals in the Pineal with say Fluoride? Maybe Dr. Strangelove was on to something.

Pyramid Hypothesis

Recently I had a dream I was lying inside a pyramid getting pressurized but I woke when my ears popped with a clear revelation that they had been used as hyperbaric chambers.

Here’s my hypothesis:

Egyptians used pyramids to saturate their cerebrospinal fluid with Nitrogen. Nitrogen saturation combined with coherent spinal nerve entrainment led to lasing within the central canal and ventricles. The ability can persist beyond the initial pressurization. The Human lasers were used to help build better and better pyramids culminating in the Great Pyramid that included optics for laser communication with the star system Sirius and perhaps others. Important brain structures involved in modulating the beam include the Pineal Gland, the Corpus Callosum, the Frontal Lobes and others. The structures inside the pyramids used for changing the pressure could have been sliding stone pistons and/or flooding of lower chambers. I am sure the geometry of the structure plays an important role but lies outside this hypothesis for now.

Daniel refers to the Nestorians in his great book: 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl. I wish we could get at the Vatican’s records of Egyptian esotericism. “The secret of the Golden Flower” is an old Chinese text that may have been influenced by the Nestorians. In that book are found many references to working with the Divine Light. Notably there is some mention of drawing back the light which sounds a lot like what I did to form my “cone of attention”. The Taoists also more popularly espouse drawing back the seminal fluid as an energetic exercise. The only other references to “drawing back” I’ve found are in the channeled writings of Alice Bailey. I believe we all have “lingams” at each chakra that can be developed by learning to draw back the outgoing energy with some control. We have all experienced varying levels of “hooking up”. I LOVE my wife in part because of the great Heart chakra orgasms we’ve enjoyed.

Character Development

Dr. Fairchild You do not say how any of your experiences helped develop your character. You did mention that you were offered a role as an androgynous being and that you didn't know what that meant but you declined because you were getting married. Being an androgynous being would only help your character because you would be a whole person possibly being granted mystic awareness and/or enlightenment by the universe.

Love, Grace and Compassion

Soul development seems to be cyclic like everythingelse.  I think as a Pisces with most ofmy planets in water, this life on water planet Earth is a threshold/transitionperiod for me.  The "Hurry-Up" comet thatcatalyzed my soul journey came around nearly fifteen years ago and I have sincebegun a new cycle of attachment and challenge.

My current challenge is practicing the expansion of personallove to Universal Love and Compassion.  I didn't mention it but Love played (andplays) probably the most important role because Grace follows Love and youcertainly won't evolve without Grace. In my last cycle I had plenty ofUniversal Love but was weak on Compassion. I had a Muse which helped to focus my adoration of the Divine but thereremained an element of selfishness.

I tend to be a pretty serious guy and am working on beingpatient with limitations imposed by physicality and the great equalizer Maya.  While I wasn't sure of all the implicationsof becoming androgynous, I was pretty sure it meant shedding the physical.  To my credit it was mostly Compassion thatkept me here; I did not want my family or new Lover to suffer. That kind ofspecific compassion is not nearly as difficult as Loving your (ignorant)enemy.  As far as mystic awareness goes Ipretty much sense instantly the motivations of people around me and can usuallydiscern truth from fiction.  I have farmore control over my thought forms because I can feel their effects right away.

I have had my nose to the grindstone for the last fifteenyears and have not been pursuing anything but Divine Patience.  My sadhana consists of following thedirective of my Cosmic Teachers to be Beautiful and dig the Rhythm so I danceeveryday in public and take delight in bringing a twinkle of remembrance and aglimmer of hope for Divine freedom to the people around me.

Nice!

Reading the journeys of others into their personal Self continually encourages me. The deeper one excavates the landscape of “Who am I?” the closer to the same center of the human cosmos one comes.

Having just finished an excellent book by a voyager into the depths of lucid dreaming, having read many journals of NDE’rs, reading the firsthand accounts of the explorations of the effects of many different psycho-chemicals and comparing them to my own, and after having had two experiences of universal consciousness while participating in Holotropic Breathwork (a la Stan Grof), my conclusion is that whatever personal deep journey we embark upon, we all seem to arrive sometimes at different shores of the same undiscovered country, and sometimes (and this is what really gets me) we meet a traveler at the exact same spot!

All one needs to do is read between the lines of the various accounts, keeping in mind that these are mostly ineffable experiences wrapped with the best possible descriptive language; a language altogether inadequate to the task.

I’m constantly reminded of the Moody Blues album cover Every Good Boy Deserves Favour. The old mystic reveals his mysteries to only the most entranced and wildly curious little boy, while the others look on in jealous condemnation. It's easy to tell, in this comment section, who's who.

Your article brought me to many familiar places by a fascinating new path. Thanks again.

I'm all for interdimensional communication...

But I would prefer to keep my brain cells. I hope others choose to as well.

Its not fun to see your friends twitching and drooling on themselves with blue lips because they wanted to chase around some angel inside a nitrous balloon.

To quote my good friend who said, upon taking a balloon hit "Thats never coming back is it? - those brain cells..."

That said, Meditation and other techniques present a much safer, grounded and even more reliable way to access these states that are everyone's birthright.

See my Evolver post on Channeling for more info. http://www.evolver.net/user/spiral_in/blog/simple_way_channel

And please, keep your brain cells alive, they look so good how they are!

hey spiral-in, To think

hey spiral-in,

To think that brain cells or the number of them are responsible for being sharp and receptive is in my view an old theory. Thinking or the experience of meditation is a non-localised function, your brain cells have got nothing to do with them. Pioneering new methods are rearly safe and those who experiment with themselves for the higher comprehension should be applauded.

i loved the post too and maybe even more the follow up comments by the author. It takes balls to go beyond, Good staff Also, very interesting theory on the egyptian chambers

Escape from your Cell

I absolutely agree with the benefits of Meditation and as the channeler “spiral-in” suggests in his blog, turning on the reception switch is a fundamental operation. The reason spiritual teachers guide the uninitiated is to prevent just such things as one chasing around some angel inside a nitrous balloon. Unfortunately the speed with which we are evolving has outpaced our spiritual institution’s entrenchment and traditional practices, enforced by fear and ignorance, are all that are offered with few exceptions. Grof’s modern pranayama techniques and the spread of diverse Shamanism give hope.

Nitrous has a stigma even among the explorers I have known; as well it should due to the intense risk of brain damage. There is no denying the dangers of asphyxiation and apparently Nitrous is a preferred suicide route now.  One would hope the application of intelligence and intention could mitigate outcomes. As the Hungarian Heart said We are not our Brains.

The time has come to “Hurry Up” and evolve to at least know and feel our interdependence with each other and the planet and stop greedily destroying natures balance for personal profit.

Thanks for noticing and commenting on my hyperbaric pyramid hypothesis, wish I had the resources to pursue it through computer modeling. Any help out there?

Meditation

Eric,Yes, we all need some external experiences to open us to internal realities. The point is not to become "addicted" to the external stimuli; to open the doors to consciousness and realize that they are and were forever open, if we'd only known how to access them. Thus, we drop all attachment to "nitrogen", "acid", etc. and become serious students of consciousness.Meditation is one proven means of accessing that internal energy. Your search has already been done, millenia ago; there is a map. Thus, we daily cleanse and energize the pathways, taking consciousness back to its source, bathing in that reality of light. At the quantum level, we distinguish the gunas, the basic energies and direct them, mix them, balance them in our lives. The answer is not simply "nitrogen", though its formation and implementation is vital to human life.It was pleasant to read your "hallucinations", particularly as they reminded me of mine when I was in that stage of freeing myself from the ego created by others. And I do not demean such experiences by labeling them as "hallucinations", since the majority of our experiences can be seen as such. They form a path, a series of realizations, which have brought us to this glorious Present. More later if you like.

Meditation comes in many flavors

Hi John David,  Sorry about the format, just being lazy.  Please don't take any offense, I respect what you are saying and appreciate your commenting.  You sound a lot like my yoga teacher.

Eric,Yes,we all need some external experiences to open us to internal realities.

Is this an affirmation of the usefulness of participating in the environment in ones pursuit of Unity?

The point is not to become "addicted" to the external stimuli;

The point is not to have attachments, including methodical bias.

(The point is) to open the doors to consciousness and realize that they are and wereforever open, if we'd only known how to access them.

OK, but there are many doors; just thought it was time to share a few keys.

Thus,we drop all attachment to "nitrogen", "acid",

If you’re not going all the way and dropping all attachment to this realm, what’s the point?

become serious students of consciousness.

Absolutely!  The more innovation the better.

Meditation is one proven means of accessing that internal energy.

Meditation is the directed use of attention to gain insight. If your insight is literal and down an aligned spine you will get a feedback wave going.

Your search has already been done, millennia ago; there is a map.

Here’s where you appear traditionalist; a single map….

Thus, we daily cleanse and energize the pathways, taking consciousness back to its source, bathing in that reality of light.

Beautiful!  Just finished my sadhana. Awesome!!!

At the quantum level, we distinguish the gunas, the basic energies and direct them, mix them, balance them in our lives.

Yoga.  The Gunas will balance if one just settles down.  Balance may not always serve the student’s best interests.

The answer is not simply "nitrogen", though its formation and implementation is vital to human life.

Not suggesting an answer.  Any future investigation by me would be in a hyperbaric chamber and probably would not include Nitrous Oxide just natural atmosphere compressed.

It was pleasant to read your "hallucinations",

I experienced both OBEs and what I call IBEs (Inside Body Experiences). The laser was manifested the last time before Nitrous departure; Normal Experience.  The speckle thoroughly convinced me of its laser nature.

Particularly as they reminded me of mine when I was in that stage of freeing myself from the ego created by others.

Others? I want to hear more about that and some of you’re youthful dalliances.

And I do not demean such experiences by labeling them as "hallucinations", since the majority of our experiences can be seen as such.

Maya, the torrent of phenomenon.

 They form a path,

Or you blaze a trail

a series of realizations, which have brought us to this glorious Present.

Realizations guide our actions, which create karma.

 More later if you like.

Please!  And may all beings be Happy!

More on Meditation

One of the best Meditation trainings I have experienced is offered by S.N. Goenka’s www.dhamma.org   They offer intensive 10-day silent retreats (w/ great food) on a donation basis.  It’s a pretty Hard-Core retreat where you are expected to focus inward only…no speaking, no touching, and no eye contact.  These Babylon vacations are for serious seekers only. Goenka is from Burma where the original meditation teachings of the Buddha were kept pure and simple.

Vipassana training begins with learning to concentrate followed by practicing being fully aware of the universe w/in our bodies. Most spend a good deal of time just getting the mind chatter to stop for even one minute.  This is where Nitrous came in handy for me many years ago.  Sometimes even under the influence I could not get those wild horses to stop ranging over my cortex.  At a deeper level the brain “crew” can be a pretty independent lot and one can spend lifetimes getting them to cooperate.

Vipassana ends with Meta, the other end of the concentration spectrum, expansion.  Expansion to include everything in compassionate, detached repose with Love and Gratitude.  This is the state fostered for “buoyant ascension” and applies to any world in which you may find your self condensed.

Another great meditation direct from the master is the Buddhist 32 Parts-of-the-Body.  The chant takes about 2 ½ hours and is a great concentration exercise as well as loving tour of the “kingdom”.  I’ll post chant if anyone is interested.

My current interest is in the vector forces involved in attention.  PSI would seem a measurable demonstration of the force as well as Rupert Sheldrake’s proof of the Sense-of-being–stared-at. Research on my experience with Kundalini “feedback’ phenomenon and its consequent laser enabling will occupy the rest of my life. Keep going.

I love it when someone just tells me what they saw and understood when they travel in these spaces. Honesty is probably all we really have in the end. I've heard of people having these adventures on Nitros but all it ever did for me was give me a massive headache. Can you really call it a psychedelic? My experience of the "Unity" is that it's all one giant thing and we seem to be in it as well as of it. In the center it is all one massive photon. It is almost impossible to look directly into the turning of this light as it roars through space. Life flows from this stream in strands of compassion and love and relationships of meaning amidst the polarities. I personally envy people like you who have such wonderful retention that you can recall so much upon your return. What I remember most is saying, "this is impossible" over and over... Does it really matter what vehicle I used to get there? Mushrooms, Salvia, LSD, Weed, Meditation, Holotrophic breathing, Hemi-Sync, etc. Your method and my technique. These things aren't the point. As long as it is alive and enfolding and unfolding we have a chance to share. It's the Imagination that's sacred. Yes, please post the Buddhist chant that you referred to at the end.                                                                                                                  " When I was a child I lived unknowing. Backward-Flowing meditation

It was a form of Backward-Flowing meditation that led to my Kundalini activation as outlined in the above story. Fifteen years later I was turned on to The Secret of the Golden Flower. It is the only text I have found that refers to drawing back of pranic light. The reversal of flow formed a rod of light rooted at my third eye that I later turned down my aligned spine activating the cosmic fire. I am convinced there is a laser analogy here. Not only did I experience a laser beam at my third eye but several times and without much effort after the initial clearing of the central canal (susumna) and the brain ventricles.

I wholeheartedly believe that Kundalini activation is a necessary and critical development for all humans if we wish to live in harmony with the Earth and the Multiverse we inhabit. I am only just now exploring less radical (and dangerous) methods of reactivation. The kundalini induced laser was a definite cross-over event of inter-dimensional communication that I have to admit I was reluctant to share for many years out of fear of the possible political repercussions of misuse.

My story simplistically implied that nitrogen was the gain medium in the central canal and ventricles bio-laser I am proposing. I realize the CSF is a solution that includes many biomolecules as well as dissolved gases. I am not equipped to test the possibilities and am not an electrodic expert or laser engineer. I do however believe the CSF may be active in non-coherent spontaneous emission all the time due to neural electrical pumping and produces amplified coherent emission when optically pumped with a developed “Cone of Attention” leading to the full-blown kundalini phenomenon. I believe the ventricles act as an enhancement cavity and if the central canal light is resonant with the ventricles the intracavity power can increase and be modulated. The nitrogen augmentation may have led to the surprising rainbow laser effect. Nonlinear photonic crystals, like those found in the pineal, are known to be used for frequency conversion yielding supercontinuum (rainbow) light generation. The odd beam I observed was some sort of supercontinum never before described. Additionally I feel the influence of the frontal lobes in modulating both the coherent and non-coherent beams and believe the system works in receiving as well as transmitting information.

Fear is the illusion of separateness, communication is the cure.

Rainbow Laser in Plato's Myth of Er

From Plato's Republic The Myth of Er Now when the spirits which were in the meadow had tarried seven days, on the eighth they were obliged to proceed on their journey, and, on the fourth day after, he said that they came to a place where they could see from above a line of light, straight as a column, extending right through the whole heaven and through the earth, in colour resembling the rainbow, only brighter and purer; another day's journey brought them to the place, and there, in the midst of the light, they saw the ends of the chains of heaven let down from above: for this light is the belt of heaven, and holds together the circle of the universe, like the under-girders of a trireme.
