Naked Geometry

Artist and mathematician M.E. Naylor believes that mathematical expressions can stimulate centers of the brain in the same way as music or art. So, in 2002 he had the idea to construct a polyhedra using bare-skinned bodies. It began with clay and wire, but quickly moved into the realm of digital art, where there was a greater ability to create captivating images.
Five years later, Naylor has compiled his visually alluring work in Naked Geometry, a book aimed at elevating beautiful expressions of mathematics by displaying them in the appealing form of naked bodies. Check out his website for images, explanations, blogs, video, and more.
