Thoughts on the Norway Spiral
Two nights ago, an extraordinary event took place over the night sky in Norway: A white spiral that emanated a bright blue spiraling beam before it disappeared into a black circular hole, apparently witnessed by thousands of people across the country. Authorities have issued a conventional explanation, proposing this amazing apparition was caused by a failed Russian missile test. However, this seems extremely unlikely – in the category of explanations that includes the theory that the most complex and virtuosic crop circles were the products of board and rope, or that Building 7 of the World Trade Center fell as a result of the Twin Towers collapse.
The magnificent spiral spectacle manifested one night before President Obama’s speech accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, in Oslo, and during the Copenhagen conference on climate change. It therefore seems to be a kind of focusing event for human consciousness. Following the works of the Russian scientist Alexey Dmitriev and others, Mark Heley, author of The Everything Guide to 2012, proposes that such an event could be plasma phenomena -- plasma that is artificially induced and intelligently guided. It is possible that such an apparition is somehow co-created or imprinted by the collective field of the human psyche. Whatever the case, it is hard to escape the impression that the Norway Spiral is a kind of thought-form that took tangible form and inscribed itself in the atmosphere.
The Norway spiral has resonance with the Hopi prophecies of the Blue Star Kachina, which appears at the end of the Fourth World -- if not that signifying event itself, perhaps a foreshadowing or retro-causal echo of it. The spiral seems like a message, invitation, or indication that the earth and its inhabitants are on the threshold of a deep transformation. While most of my work over the last years has been an effort to understand this transformation and help myself and others prepare for it, I admit to feeling, if anything, an increasing confusion and uncertainty about it. What is happening seems to be taking place beyond the reach of the conceptual and rational mind, requiring an innate, intuitive, heart-centered response, as much as a logical and empirical one.
I have spent a good deal of time trying to fathom the archetypal signature of Barack Obama, who seems to me, generally, not like a normal human but more like some kind of eerie interpellation into our reality. Personally, I could not bring myself to vote for him, and when I hear him speak, I am put off by his capacity to dissimulate ingeniously, to fake compassion that he does not feel, and to twist rhetoric in service of the status quo of earth-destroying Empire. This is the second significant example of “signs and wonders” seemingly associated with him: the first was the “Miracle on the Hudson,” the crash-landing of a jumbo jet in the Hudson River where all passengers and crew survived, a few days before the inauguration.
I have been studying Voyagers, a series of books by Ashayana Deane, who claims to represent the Guardian Alliance, a benevolent federation of extraterrestrial and extra-dimensional civilizations, as well as the works of David Icke and Michael Tsarion, who propose the earth is under a type of quarantine and currently ruled by an extraterrestrial race that they characterize as “reptilian.” Icke and Tsarion have proposed that this control group continues its dominance through genetic “bloodlines” that can be traced back to royal families in Europe. From this perspective, it is quite interesting that Obama is a distant cousin of both Dick Cheney and George Bush. I don’t know how much credence to give these ideas, but I increasingly resonate with them. Obama seems like a necessarily ambiguous manifestation, a transitional agent in some larger galactic narrative that is becoming increasingly apparent to those who question the nature of this reality.
The Voyagers books propose that there are multiple dimensions and time-lines, multiple “harmonic universes” that are parallel yet contingent upon each other, and also “holographic inserts” into our seemingly solid-state reality that manifest as tangible events we collectively experience. The books are vast and detailed, and the galactic history they outline is difficult to fathom or absorb seriously. I spend a lot of time meditating on the nature of myth, story, and history. I love the writer Patrick Harpur’s proposition that “history is the mythological variant we have chosen to take literally.” It seems possible to me that the “end of time” proposed by many religious traditions could be a shift from the form of historical progressive linear time which we currently conceive to a far more latticed mythological unfolding. Any story we construct, like the confident explanations offered by science, is a necessary limitation. A story or a myth or a historical narrative is like a warm coat we weave around us for protection and comfort.
Deane proposes we have the capacity to reshape past, present, and future events, in this life as well as other incarnations: “Just as your internal dreams seem to take place within your consciousness while you participate within them, your external reality is also a dream-scape, manufactured by your consciousness, through which energy particles are shaped into thought-forms that will later become manifest,” Deane writes in Voyagers II. “Your present manifest illusion is composed of the thought-forms of your past and future selves, and the thought-forms you presently hold. … Your past thoughts and deeds will show themselves in your present reality, but you have the absolute power to change them, by using your present focus of attention to create new thoughts and redesign those that are undesirable, whether they are coming from the past, present or future.” As you evolve, Deane states, “you will train your consciousness to move backward and forward in time, to recreate undesired events and redesign more desirable outcomes.”
Is it possible that the Norway spiral is a type of transmission, indicating our increasing capacity to utilize our thoughts and intentions to influence the space-time continuum? It seems to indicate some new power or energy becoming available in the world, breaking through from thought and concept to direct manifestation and percept. I frequently use the analogy of lightning and electricity to explain how a formerly untapped and unknown force could be shaped and transmuted by human consciousness in a short period of time, then channeled into a force that transforms the earth. Is it possible that psychic energy is becoming increasingly available to us, suggesting we may soon pass across a threshold into a different state of being? Is the Norway spiral the first bolt of lightning, beginning to awaken us from our long psychic slumber?

Cool, but asinine...
It is so telling to me that alterna-minded folks would look at this phenomena and react as though there was some great mystical event unfolding, or perhaps a dimensional portal opening up, or some other equally unlikely claptrap.
Just this morning, the Russians admitted that this was the atmospheric effect of a test of a new ICBM model they hope to deploy, one that will render the USA's missile defense model powerless. It's all about maintaining our collective capacity to efficiently nuke each other into oblivion.
Any person with a mind towards critical thinking or rational thought, anyone whose mind doesn't automatically jump from point A to point Zeta Reticuli without considering B, can readily see that this was little more than an extremely cool-looking, but rather conventional phenomenon.
There is definitely no "deep shift" taking place in our "Psyche." We're as tribalistic and warfare-prone as humans have always been, and this is only an aesthetically pleasant, awesome-looking sign that we're still treading the same path we've always tread, and will continue to tread, collectively, until such time as humans are no longer around.

I beg to differ. It is increasingly obvious that we are experiencing a "deep shift" in the human "psyche", to anyone that has been fortunate enough to absorb a piece of it. I have always been a non-believer, and non-believer I remain - but I can't overlook the facts of things that happen in my own life, pointing towards this shift.
To think this was a conventional phenomenon says to me that you don't understand physics enough to understand that the rogue missile is an extremely unlikely explanation.

Please explain then, in precise and conventional terms, what exactly I'm missing, and why my assumptions are erroneous. That was not a "flat radiating disk," and if you look closely in the good video footage, one sees that the 'center of the cyclone,' so to speak, is corkscrewing in almost precisely the same frequency as the corkscrew pattern seen in the blue exhaust trail in our atmosphere (if that was a "blue light," it would not have disappated and faded gradually, a la a contrail or any other kind of plume of gas). Further, I imagine that if it was some stationary object emanating vibration waves, they would be emitted in a wave-like fashion, i.e. symmetrical, but they were not. They were not concentric rings, but a continuous and spreading line from a center, with greater density near their point of origin, thereby reflecting more of the DIRECT sunlight that made the entire phenomenon so spooky-looking.
It seems very odd to me that in a period of time in which Russians had warned of impending tests, in a period of time in which they're running a series of tests of SPACECRAFT (and that's what ICBMs essentially are), in that exact geographic area, that there would be a coincidental phenomenon that appeared to be directly related to all these factors, but was, in fact, not.

Reading you. Your books, and here. Following your story and still a skeptic which is something I'll never stop being because questioning things is not negative, it's part of truly feeling life and enJOYing it at it's deepest level. The mystery never ends.

Sometimes I despair at the cynicism I see in our community. Surely Obama deserves a chance to put things right - he's the first politician with the capacity to rouse the masses and inspire a sense of hope for the future in a generation (at least), but he's inherited an unbelievably disfunctional nation, committed to an unjust war and decaying economically. At least give him time before you jump to the conclusion that he's an alien lizzard!!!

Of course I know where you are coming from - I have been there often myself. The truth is that neither of us "knows" (why was Socrates the wisest man in Athens according to the Delphic Oracle? "Because he alone knows that he does not know.") the truth (which may be a spectrum of "degrees of apparentness" rather than an absolute).
You follow the story that tells you humans have not changed and cannot change. I propose a story that evolution of consciousness and ethics continues to take place. I believe I can provide just as coherent an explanation for my story as you can for yours.
If both stories are accepted as being equally coherent, then which one makes more sense to invest with the energy of our intention and convictions? The one that says there is no point to humanity, or the one that says an evolution of culture and consciousness can be attained?
And then, if we consider that quantum physics suggests that consciousness is participatory to what is observed, perhaps our intentions and convictions do influence the particular aspects of the space-time manifold that are, in a sense, drawn to us, and become our experience?

If both stories are equally coherent, and I don't believe they are, then how will I decide which one to pay attention to? I'm a Libra (no, I'm not really into astrology), so I like to look at them simultaneously. Still, I'd place my bet (so to speak, or not!) on the story which seems to have the most going for it it over the long term. I personally don't see an Ultimate Point of humanity. We are just blips of energy vibrating at certain wavelengths for infintisemally tiny portions of time in an endless, vast sea of the the Universe (or the Multiverse), in a process that has probably taken place without beginning or end, forever and ever. On the gross scale of human life on Earth, and in recorded human history and thought, it seems like the 'dominator complex' is running the show, just as it does with many other advanced social mammals. For thousands of years humans have talked about some great leap forward in our consciousness or way of life, whether it's Buddha, Jesus, William Blake, Karl Marx, Madame Blavatsky, Harold Klemp, you, or many of my friends. Just like Jesus' imminent return to Earth, this never seems to come, and the rhetoric is always the same. It's as though that worldview just can't take account for its ultimate failings to deliver on the goods. Thus, the materialist paradigm, the dominance paradigm, the might = right paradigm always seems to dominant through the ages.
I would love to see us change. I think that your writings point the way towards a Michael Jacksonian "man in the mirror" sort of change, but I'm not convinced it can happen that way, not anymore.
I also take issue with the interpretation of consciousness' interaction with quantum observations. It's measurement that makes the difference. I'm entirely convinced the universe would work in precisely the same fashion, at quantum and gross levels, whether or not there was any consciousness around to observe it.

I may be out of date, but as far as I can tell, Harold Klemp has never predicted a great leapforward inour consciousness. Much of Paul Twitchell's, Darwin Gross's, and Harold Klemp's thinking specifically advises against the idea of any kind of transformation in human consciousness in society.

Mr. Pinchbeck, synchronistically, along a similar timeline, I have been arriving at like conclusions regarding manipulatins by higher beings of egoistic intent: those referred to by Rudolf Steiner as the Ahrimanics, the fallen order of the Angeloi heirarchy, and, possibly the same, or another group (Steiner speaks of some of the dark forces working secretely together) studied by Zecharia Sitchin and Barbara Hand Clow - the Annunaki. Steiner conveys that Ahriman's primary deceits will stem from materialism in all guises, even inoculations to dissaude one from spiritual paths.
Rather than a pining for dialectical debate from doubters, I write this merely in hopes of contacting you, Mr. Pinchbeck. Our lives and thoughts are a parallel of synchronicities along illimitably stupifying lines. Reading your works, these were signs to me that I was on the right path, and so are you. I believe your Grays and Steiner's Luciferics tie in as well. I have had 3 incontrovertibleUFO sightings. Research and intuition have lead me to believe some of these higher dimensional beings (as most other intelligent life seems to be of benevolent intent) to be the chains we, as conscious humans, are faced with manumitting ourselves from, evolving through. Remembering to love even our oppressors, as they too are manifestations of creator consciouness thinking within and upon itself, and that we are somehow karmically intertwined with them; that even they are a necessary part of human evolution. Yet we must awaken more of humanity: 9/11, divide and conquer through religion and the media, low vibration, depopulation - as you know, their collective plan for earth is not a harmonius one. Steiner talks of secret brotherhoods, cabals which the likes of our Presidents are members, being able to call back the spirits (through mediums) of those who have died violent deaths, so as to gain critical knowledge of what is going on in the spiritual world, to then gain greater advantage on the earth plane - 9/11 intuitively struck me when I read this, as it was quite obviously an inside job. Not only would it sway mass populations through fear (like the Nazis Ahrimanic experiment), but it had a double purpose.

The Norway Spiral
I recently completed a sabbatical of over a year during which
I received many energetic downloads which have increased
my psychic and healing abilities. My Guides' tell me - and I can see - that the Norway Spiral - is the entrance to the 5th dimension - and it has been shown to us - at this time in our history as a kind of beacon, if you will, of what is to come and what it is we are to strive for.
Everything that has been said here has some merit. We have a long way to go but we are also changing and capable of change.
The conflict you see now is the direct result of the increased amount of Light coming in and bringing up for many the issues they have to be healed. This, of course, creates more conflict for the moment. You cannot heal something without bringing it to the Light.

Norway spiral and plasma- an accident?

However, it is also possible that it is not an accident. The timing with Obama's presence in Norway to collect the "peace prize" is certainly remarkable.
One possibility is that the Russians were demonstrating how an ICBM can be used to create an AIM or "artificial ionospheric mirror". This is effectively a temporary reflective layer created in the ionosphere that can be used for weather modification purposes (amongst other things). This kind of technology is very much part of the ongoing "cold war" between the US and Russia that has recently focused around the proposed Eastern European missile shield. Then again, it might have been an accident.
It certainly demonstrates how beautiful the ionosphere can be when the plasma is charged- artifically or naturally.
My bigger thesis is that plasma is, in fact, the bridge between the "artificial" and the "natural" and its organisation directly reflects the intelligence in nature. It may well be that more advanced technologies than our own have learnt to "mould" plasma. It's not that I think there is necesarily a connection between the spiral and the LHC but it's an interesting synchronicity because people had been concerned or at least joked about the possibility of the LHC creating somekind of black hole.

I had a interesting sinchronicity the very moment I was asking in a bookshop about Matrix Energetics, weeks ago; a passing woman looked at me and told me she was a psychologist and counsellor, and that her life and "reality tunnel" was deeply changing after studying and practising this material. People are already doing this
and I believe that this is what needs to be practiced daily, in order to collectively choose our future and make it a bright one. Our thoughts are merely programs in the mind consciousness system, where they come from is, well, all over the place. The good news is that it doesn't matter where they come from, what matters is that we consciously stop them in their tracks and then choose what we would prefer to think and feel instead. This past month has been monumental for me and for several people that I know in this regard.
For example, instead of feeling insecure I can stop that thought, that program, and take corrective action. Once I've stopped the cascade of thoughts that would have probably ensued, I can choose from a place where we are all equal and one with all that exists. I can forgive myself for ever having that thought and then choose from common sense, and from capable, commanding, senior in myself and step up to my responsibility, fully engaged in what I need to complete my task without the emotional baggage and the mental chatter that so often distracts us or worse holds us back or trips us up.
Yes, this is becoming easier by the moment for many of us, and I do believe that it is a part of this so-called shift. It is a shift away from what never had anything to do with us in the first place and into who we really are.

Whether the guy is in league with the Reptiles or not he's still as useful as a burst appendix in a homeless man in mid January and I feel sorry for him. It's all a game and it's always been a game and it's a shame that so many people have no idea how high the stakes really are.
David Icke is right, the world is in a vibrational prison and most of it is wrapped around the mighty dollar. Of course. From the drone of industry and cars to the drone of your fridge there is always something making a fucking noise and emitting a frequency. Then there are the cellphone, internet and ?!?!? towers creating a web of wierdness over our heads that spans the whole earth and then what's that in the sky? And that and that and that?! All of these grating and hostile vibrations and intrusion confusions are incredibly contrary to the lovely Shumann/Earth Frequencies we should be tuning into and so cloud our thinking and day to day functioning.
The world is made up of sounds and vibrations. When DMT is smoked one of the first things that happens is a vibrational shift that usually makes your whole body feel warm and cozy (I've never felt anything negative or different from that) and then the sounds and colors come on and then distinguishable shapes appear and eventually communication happens and you're there. And since the DMT is Thee Reality and pretty much a direct line to Gaia it would make sense to say that the DMT experience is like a mini creation story and that we as a collective whole should be feeling vibrationally a bit more DMTish and not so heavy and dis-eased.
If the bunk vibes went away I think we'd would see a dramatic and near to miraculous widespread healing pandemic. Not only because of just the vibrations being gone, but because the consciousness that controls the bad vibes also controls Big Pharm, Big Gov't, Oil , more than likely Obama, and so on. And think about the music that's being produced these days. It's just another tool and a nightmare to the ears for a reason. And the sorrow. So much death and sickness and sorrow and war keeps us in emotional lock down and is not conducive to dancing and other acts of merry making that are so beneficial and necessary for true life to happen.
And Deane is right as well. As far as my experiments go anyway. If we could at least get away from the prison confines of the Gregorian calendar and the 9-5 workweek, time could be a whole different ball game. Out of fear man has been trained to function strictly by the clock (or else he loses his job and his life) and not by natural time and that is unacceptable. Time has been systematically locked up and imagination is one key to unlocking it. And being a shaman, because a shaman knows that time is definitely not a calendar and a clock. You can always go back to the past and make amends or see things differently, or whatever you choose to do, which of course changes everything thereafter and if you really feel like it you can see into the future and do things there as well.
It's just magic and it's not even that hard, but because things like "seeing into the future" or "time travel to the past" have been relegated to dusty works of fiction to be re-rewritten for the big screen people don't even think that something like that is possible and so no effort is made to change or to think a little differently and now magic slowly disappears and all the life that's worth living right with it. Seemingly anyway.
We are winning and if my information is correct the other side is actually freaking out right now. Sadly for them, but fortunate for us, the Ego only gets you so far before the fuel runs out and as we all know, even the best laid plans can fail.
And for a bit of slightly light reading on the subject of Royal Families and bloodlines, the book "Grass" by Science Fiction author Sheri S. Tepper is a highly intelligent and chilling look at how rituals and bloodlines and the trappings thereof play a huge part in Royal Families. Lots of time travel and time anomalies in her works.

Sandwich reality
The juxtaposition of mahajohn's comments with the Big D's is to me what seems telling.
A lot of Daniel's musings and proto-conlusions have been much the subjects of my own thoughts. And this seems quite miraculous to me, not least because of its concurrency. It suggests that there is some wave that we both—and undoubtedly many RSers—are catching that's all the more miraculous for how far-out and wacky it seems even as I continue to assimilate these ideas on a daily basis.
One of the strangest aspects of this information wave is that it doesn't negate points of view like mahajohn's. It's like I can remember when I thought like him. I remember when it was comforting to get an explanation from some far-away government that allowed me to stop trying to make my own sense of things, or, perhaps more importantly, to *feel* for myself what was what.
This new consciousness that can incorporate the existence of ETs and probe the multi-level meanings of 3D events seems to sit on top of the way I previously worked and perceived things. I can almost shift between their two points of view and appreciate both for what they are.
Wond'rous strange.

You bring up some interesting connections to what's going on in the world today. (On a side note, while I take Icke's work with a grain of salt, I did happen to notice that during Obama's acceptance speech behind plexiglass in Chicago, he kept sticking out his tongue a bit - in the same quick, snake-like fashion as other supposed "reptilians" Icke has identified. I haven't noticed this in any of Obama's other speeches - just that first one!)
I also posted a short article about the sky spirals in Norway and China at my personal website yesterday. As predicted, "official" explanations are leaning toward a failed missile launch. I agree with those who have noted that if it were a missile launch, why was the spiral so splendidly perfect, and why did it appear stationary for so long? At the height it was to be seen for hundreds of kilometres, was there no wind at all?
My post brings up a few other points to consider, and includes a video of something remarkably similar that apparently happened in China. At 1:11 (!) into the video you will notice something that indicates the Chinese event was NOT a rocket or missile malfunction. Alas, since I don't speak Chinese and haven't seen an interpretation of the commentary, I don't know exactly what they are saying - but it's the video of the phenomenon I find most interesting:

An event like this makes perfect sense within the framework that more and more novel things will be and are happening all the time. The spiral is tightening. Our paradigm, in terms of what we thought was possible, is starting to shift towards a point where we ultimately realize that any and all possibilities exist right now, in the present moment. Instead of being slaves to the stories of history, the myths that (subconsciously) organize our thoughts about who we are and what we're capable of, (which were entirely necessary and have lead to our awakening) we realize that we are not bound by any specific patterns or laws (beliefs), and that we are completely free to the create the world we wish.
With this discussion of affecting the future as well as the past, I'll link to Dean Radin's paper on time reversed effects, which shows how people can influence random number generators, with their thoughts, EVEN from the future. In other words, an otherwise random sequence of 1s and 0s is produced, and, without anyone observing it prior, someone in the future, say a month or even a year later, is able to make that sequence go significantly not random. This is evident over many trials and the deviations from chance are statistically significant.

Why are people still believing Government's explanations of things? Any Government. American, Russian, English, it's all about the same now. I wouldn't even trust the peace loving Swiss at this time. They can say anything and do anything because the common folk really have no idea what toys militaries have and what they can do so they'll just believe anything because a simple iPhone is enough to blow most peoples minds.

I like the idea that my life is in a way my own dream, and therefore quite malleable, and full of symbolism. So for me personally the spiral does seem meaningful, and symbolic, and it's almost as if the phenomenon was created by the strength of desire to see change and transition to new awareness.
But I'm also happy to at the same time to accept the more mundane explanations for the phenomenon as well, without feeling there is a contradiction, if that makes sense.

Now I admit that I have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever when it comes to Russian military weapons, but I cannot imagine how a failed missile traveled that far up in the sky and made a perfect spiral with an amazing blue tale. I agree with Kitty Hoffman that in this day and age it is extremely naive to believe anything just because the government says so. The only way I can believe the Russian missile theory is if they do again deliberately. But just like steel-framed building collapsing due to fire, I doubt the powers that be will ever recreate this event.
I have also been somehow drawn to David Icke's material lately. A few weeks ago I saw him do an 8 hour lecture in Goteborg, Sweden. He didn't dwell on his reptile theories too much but talked extensively on the nature of reality. Having been going over and over Robert Anton Wilson's works lately I cannot help thinking that the Norway Spiral - along with other supernatural events (crop circles, ufos) - are breakthroughs from other dimensions. Perhaps the walls of our own dimension are beginning to crumble for those who are ready to witness it. By the way this is not totally science fiction. The EWG model of quantum mechanics states that any other dimension that we can imagine do indeed exist and are no less real than this one. And if the universe is infinite... well. On the other hand I'm sure ancient civilization may have had similar confusions when it came to rainbows and lightning (although it is odd that the Norway Spiral doesn't seem to have any known precedent).
