Global Coherence from the Heart
Scientific research tells us that the heart is much more than a pump; it is actually a “complex, self-organized information processing center that profoundly influences the way we perceive and respond to the world.” Moreover, the heart produces the largest rhythmic electromagentic field in the body, a field modulated by emotional information that can ripple out into the world around us. Can positive emotion and a heart-mind connection make each of us agents of global coherence?
On June 18th in Topanga Canyon, CA, artists, musicians and science professionals explore the idea that human emotion can have a measurable impact on the earth. The Luv Amp festival is the inaugural event of the Luv Amp Project, an on-going creation of art, media, and events that combine modern science with ancient knowledge to amplify the experience, understanding and impact of love. The festival includes presentations of the latest research on heart intelligence, global coherence projects, and their potentially profound implications for humanity. Join artists, musicians and reps from the Institute for HeartMath for an all-day interactive heart laboratory, a raw organic dinner, concert, and sunset hike and ceremony.
The festival is sponsored by c3: Center for Conscious Creativity and Project Butterfly, and benefits the Global Coherence Initiative and the Institute of HeartMath. The day will be documented in order to inspire more Luv Amp festivals around the world.
